Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of a lighting apparatus and system for cosmetic displays is provided. For example, a display shelf is provided including a support structure having a bottom wall and a side wall, an elongated power track having a length approximately a same length as the side wall, the elongated power track configured to be slidably received within the side wall of the support structure, and a power conductor rail provided in the elongated power track extending along the length of the power track configured to provide power to a modular housing. The modular housing includes a plunge contact that connects to the elongated power track to provide power to lighting within the modular housing.

Abstract: A product display assembly having a tester security apparatus for at least one tester of a product, includes a base having a top surface, and at least one tester holder disposed on the top surface of the base. At least one retractor each corresponding to the at least one tester holder is disposed on the top surface of the base. Each retractor has a retractable line located therein with a free end extending therefrom. A fastening element is adapted for attachment to the exterior of the tester and forms a tab portion extending away from the tester upon attachment to the tester. A coupling member is adapted for operative engagement with the tab portion of the fastening element and includes retaining structure for receiving and retaining the free end of the retractable line of a corresponding retractor.

The product display assembly further includes a fastening element adapted for attachment to the exterior of the tester, and a coupling member, wherein the coupling member further includes retaining means for receiving and retaining the free end of the retractable line of a corresponding retractor.

Abstract: An adjustable bracket assembly has a hooked attachment prong or flange that is adjustable at the end of a faceout by way of a threaded screw between the end of the faceout and the bracket flange. The hooked attachment flange is shaped to fit within all slots within the various manufacturers' standards. Generally, once the attachment flange is inserted within a slot, the flange end cannot turn within the standard. The faceout is attached to the standard from outside the display by remotely inserting the flange into a slot and turning the faceout bar, thereby screwing the faceout tightly against the standard. The faceout bar could be telescoping to allow the attachment flange to be inserted within the slot from an even greater distance away.

Abstract: A new faceout and upright bracket attachment assembly is constructed of two upright tubes or bars joined by an apertured web. The faceout is constructed so that the bracket is formed with two opposing flanges that are shaped to fit around one upright bar and that project from an end panel at the end of the faceout mounting bar, with one flange being situated slightly higher than the other and being vertically spaced from the lower flange by at least a distance of the width of a vertical upright bar. Each flange also has a notch in its bottom edge to allow the flanges to be positioned securely relative to the web apertures. The faceout bar bracket is locked onto the upright by positioning one of the upright bars between the flanges of the bracket across the face of the faceout end panel and then rotating the faceout bracket 90° about the upright bar such that the flanges mate with web apertures in opposing directions.

Abstract: A sliding and height-adjustable tray shelf unit of a display apparatus has a shelf that slides inward and outward relative to the display apparatus is also adjustable vertically relative to the slotted standard of the display apparatus. Each sliding shelf can also incorporate a removable modular tray in order to allow one tray to be replaced with another tray, perhaps already pre-stocked with items to be displayed. Each sliding shelf also has a support frame that is mounted to the display apparatus or standard by way of hooked prongs or flanges that interact with the slots within the standard. A tray support base or a display tray is mounted to the support frame by any of several ways such that the tray support base “slides” relative to the support frame, such as by wheels that rotate within tracks, pegs or detent tabs that slide forward and backward within tracks cut into a flat surface, and a molded section that slides along an upstanding edge or rail.

Abstract: A shopping basket has four walls, a bottom and handles for allowing the basket to be carried, and one wall of the basket is provided with a section that projects either outwardly from or inwardly into the shopping basket and is adapted to serve as a receptacle for a bottle or can. This projecting section is integrally formed with the shopping basket wall, is cylindrically shaped with a radius slightly larger than that of a typical can or bottle and has a flat bottom retaining wall so that it is suited to hold securely an open, fluid-filled can or bottle without spilling its contents. Thus, a shopper using the shopping basket will easily be able to drink from a can or bottle and then place it within the receptacle formed from the shopping basket wall, removing it and replacing it as desired, so that the shopper can conveniently and selectively shop and drink from the can or bottle as desired.
