Patent number: 11704437Abstract: A method, system and computer-usable medium for adaptively assessing risk associated with an endpoint, comprising: determining a risk level corresponding to an entity associated with an endpoint; selecting a frequency and a duration of an endpoint monitoring interval; collecting user behavior to collect user behavior associated with the entity for the duration of the endpoint monitoring interval via the endpoint; processing the user behavior to generate a current risk score for the entity; comparing the current risk score of the user to historical risk scores to determine whether a risk score of a user has changed; and changing the risk score of the user to the current risk score when the risk score of the user has changed.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2022Date of Patent: July 18, 2023Assignee: Forcepoint Federal Holdings LLCInventors: Richard A. Ford, Ann Irvine, Adam Reeve, Russell Snyder, Benjamin Shih

Patent number: 11544390Abstract: A mechanism for probabilistically determining the contents of an encrypted file is provided, such that a transfer of the encrypted file can be restricted according to rules associated with an unencrypted version of the file. Embodiments generate a file size table of a subset of files, where each entry of the file size table includes a size information regarding the unencrypted file. Embodiments compare the size of the encrypted file against the file sizes and compressed file size ranges to determine whether the encrypted file has a match. If the size of the encrypted file has a single match in the table, then there is a high probability that the file associated with the matching entry is the unencrypted version of the encrypted file. Rules associated with restricting access of the file related to the matching entry can be used to control transfer of the encrypted file.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2020Date of Patent: January 3, 2023Assignee: Forcepoint LLCInventor: Benjamin Shih

Patent number: 10875720Abstract: A conveyor assembly includes a motor, a gear assembly operatively coupled to the motor, and a paddle assembly including a plurality of paddles operatively coupled to the gear assembly. Each paddle extends longitudinally between opposing housing walls. Each paddle includes a plurality of blades and a plurality of gaps that are alternatingly disposed along a shaft that extends through a center of each blade. A first portion of paddles includes a first portion of blades and a first portion of gaps. A second portion of paddles includes a second portion of blades and a second portion of gaps. The first portion of blades can rotate through the second portion of gaps. The second portion of blades can rotate through the first portion of gaps. The paddles can sequentially rotate about the respective paddle axes such that each paddle can be disposed at a different angular position than an adjacent paddle.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2019Date of Patent: December 29, 2020Assignee: Creator, Inc.Inventors: Patrick Sherman, Taylor Nicholson, Benjamin Shih, Abigail Soong
