  • Publication number: 20250056110
Abstract: A cellular trail camera system is disclosed and includes a housing; a mounting bracket for mounting the camera; a visible sensor; an infrared sensor; and a plurality of Fresnel lenses each operable to be individually mounted to or with the infrared sensor and to focus infrared light to the infrared sensor from a different direction. One of the Fresnel lenses may be mounted to or with the housing during operation. The housing includes a wireless transceiver, which may communicate via a cellular network. The camera may communicate with a wireless communication device via the wireless transceiver. The camera may communicate images and/or video to the wireless device. The infrared sensor may include a plurality of elements. The camera may be powered by a solar cell that is mounted on the camera or remote from the camera. The visible sensor may be activated when the infrared sensor detects a heat-generating object.

  • Publication number: 20240402580
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described which provide a camera mount system. A camera mount is in communication with a positioning device. The positioning device has a compass, gyroscope, and emits an infrared light beam. The camera mount has a sensor that receives reflected and/or scattered infrared light from a moving target. The camera mount changes its orientation based on information from its sensor, and gyroscope and compass information from the positioning device.

  • Publication number: 20240310696
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described which provide an autofocus and autozoom recording system. The recording system can include, for example, a recording device that can work in conjunction with a rangefinder to autofocus and autozoom even when a target moves. One or both of the recording device and the rangefinder can be mounted on a weapon, for example.

  • Publication number: 20240253325
Abstract: A method of forming a textured surface to prevent frost buildup includes forming a substrate. The method also includes forming a plurality of three-dimensional structures that attach to the substrate such that valleys are formed in between the three-dimensional structures. The method further includes controlling dimensions of each of the plurality of three-dimensional structures to generate a concentration gradient that forms as a result of a saturation vapor pressure difference between solid condensate and liquid condensate that forms on the textured surface. The concentration gradient causes evaporation of the liquid condensate in the valleys that occur between the plurality of three-dimensional structures. The vapor diffusion control provided by the three-dimensional structures can be further enhanced by the application of a moisture-absorbing coating to the planar bottom region/valleys between these structures.
