  • Publication number: 20190208749
Abstract: A tabletop style incubator that includes an integrated water reservoir in the form of channels formed in the floor of the base tray and fill ports that allow water to be added to the incubator without removing the top assembly from the bottom assembly. The incubator incorporates conventional incubator features, such as, electronic controls for heat, humidity and time, and an automated egg turner. The base tray of the bottom assembly base tray includes a pair of thermoplastic shells that are bonded together around an inner expanded polystyrene core. The base tray is also configured with a pair of recessed channels that serve as two separate water troughs or reservoirs. A fill port extends through opposed sidewalls of the base tray into each channel and is enclosed by a removable plug.

  • Publication number: 20140104053
Abstract: The occupancy and restraint status indicator system (ORSIS) includes a control module wired to the restraint sensors and pressure sensors embedded in each vehicle seat and an externally visible light panel wired to the control module. The control module interprets the signal from the pressure and restraint sensors and displays the occupancy and restraint status of each seat on the light panel. The ORSIS provides an external display and communicates the occupancy and restraint status of a vehicle to approaching law enforcement personnel and first responders.

  • Patent number: 8674268
Abstract: The heated water bucket includes a rubber bodied bucket with an integrated heating unit fitted to the bottom of the bucket. The heating unit covers the entire bottom of the bucket acting as a false “bottom” so that the heating unit does not appear as a foreign object within the bucket. The heating unit is held to the bottom of the bucket by a peripheral flange that extends radially around the inside of the bucket sidewall. The rubber construction of the bucket itself makes the invention more durable, but also improves the bucket's thermal insulation properties, making it more efficient than conventional heated plastic buckets.

  • Patent number: 7735455
Abstract: A ground supported poultry fountain includes a basin with an annular drinking trough, a bell shaped reservoir detachable mounted atop the basin and a heating element affixed to the bottom of the basin. The heating element covers the bottom surface of the basin under the reservoir and along the inner wall of the drinking trough. The heating element prevents the water in the reservoir, as well as the water in the trough from freezing when ambient temperatures drop below freezing.

  • Publication number: 20080196668
Abstract: The animal feeder combines a heated water basin with an automatic water level control valve and a separate feed basin in an elevated feeder housing. The diner includes a plastic housing, which has a flat top and a peripheral side wall. The diner housing is supported by four corner feet, which raises the top above the ground level. The housing top has two large depressions, which from a feed basin and a water basin. The diner can be connected to a water supply by a standard garden hose. A float valve mounted to the housing maintains the water level inside the basin. An electrical heating element mounted under the water basin prevents water from freezing when ambient temperatures drop below freezing.

  • Publication number: 20080196670
Abstract: This water feeder includes a heating element interposed between the fluid reservoir and a heater base. The fluid reservoir is press fit onto a heater base, which includes a bottom tray and an upright back. The heating element includes a length of electrical resistance heating wire affixed to a sheet of pliable thermal conductive foil. The heating element covers both the inside of the base tray to contact the bottom of the fluid reservoir and the inside face of the base back to contact the back wall of the fluid reservoir.

  • Patent number: 6810206
Abstract: A water heater has a housing, a heating element, and an electric power cord secured to the housing and to a three-pronged plug configured for insertion into a standard electrical power outlet. The power cord is continuous from the housing to the three-pronged plug. A portion of the housing has a diameter which is less than approximately one inch and is configured to extend through a drain plug opening in the tank for securing the housing to the tank. The plug has a diameter which is substantially equal to, or less than, the diameter of that portion of the housing.
