  • Publication number: 20200158318
Abstract: An interactive tool storage system may include an enclosure with a storage bin and a sensor system configured to detect the interaction of a person with the storage unit. A data acquisition system may collect data from a sensor in the sensor system. The system may include a power module, electric circuit, and data circuit to operably couple the system components. A network interface may enable the input and output of electrical power and data while a data storage system with a writeable memory may collect and record sensor inputs and system outputs. The system may include a non-transitory machine readable memory to store program instructions and a data processor configured to read/write data to the system memory, manipulate data and perform logical operations, interact with sensor system and networked devices; and present a user interface through which the user may interact with the system.

  • Publication number: 20200070321
Abstract: The present invention relates to tools, for example, hexagonal drivers and bits adapted to engage fasteners. The tool includes an external geometry that is adapted to engage internal walls or flats of a fastener with a larger area compared the prior designs that use a point type of contact. This reduces the stress exerted on the fastener and damage or deformation to the internal walls of the fastener.

  • Publication number: 20200048057
Abstract: A hydraulic power unit for a floor jack that includes an internally-adjustable relief valve that is inaccessible to an operator without removing the power unit from the jack assembly and disassembling the power unit. By placing the relief valve inside of the hydraulic assembly, hidden from operators, the relief valve is less likely to be accidently adjusted when using or servicing the jack.

  • Publication number: 20200011356
Abstract: A hydraulic power unit for a floor jack that includes a secondary safety check valve (SSCV) to provide additional leakdown protection, backing up the main check valve. The SSCV acts as a safety measure to prevent the unit from losing load bearing capabilities if the main check valve fails. In addition, the SSCV acts as a means to prevent debris from entering the main check valve, thereby reducing the chance for failure due to an obstruction.
