  • Publication number: 20210014979
Abstract: In one embodiment, an X-ray inspection system may nondestructively inspect a printed circuit board to measure a number of dimensions at a number of pre-determined locations of the printed circuit board. The X-ray inspection system may generate a data set for the printed circuit board based on the measured dimensions. The X-ray inspection system may calculate one or more drilling values based on the data set of the printed circuit board. The X-ray inspection system may provide, to a drilling machine, instructions for drilling a number of plated-through vias based on the calculated drilling values for the printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20200382529
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to monitoring network traffic using network monitoring computers (NMCs). NMCs may determine requests provided to a server based on a first portion of network traffic. NMCs may determine suspicious requests based on characteristics of the provided requests. NMCs may employ the characteristics of the suspicious requests to provide correlation information that is associated with the suspicious requests. NMCs may determine dependent actions associated with the server based on a second portion of the network traffic and the correlation information. And, in response to determining anomalous activity associated with the evaluation of the dependent actions, NMCs may provide reports associated with the anomalous activity.

  • Publication number: 20200356355
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a distributed autonomous patching system. During patching of a cloud computing architecture, an autonomous patching system may operator autonomously with no to minimal operator input to patch the host machines and corresponding computes of the cloud computing architecture's available applications. This may work by receiving a patch and determining corresponding patching factors for an availability zone of computes in the cloud. The system may then determine a patching topology map having an order of patching nodes for the selected computes of the application in the availability zone. Thereafter, while monitoring those computes, the system may select certain computes into an active processing funnel, where the patch is applied to those computes. Fingerprinting of before and after-patch states may be used to ensure proper patching.

  • Publication number: 20200359429
Abstract: In one aspect, a control plane Interworking Function (IWF-C) is used to establish a Packet Data Unit (PDU) session in a data communications network. A create session request is received, for example from a Mobile Management Entity (MME). A create session management context request is generated by the IWF-C and transmitted to a Session Management Function (SMF). A create session management context request response is received from the SMF. A create session request response is generated by the IWF-C and sent, for example to the MME. In other aspects, control plane policy interworking and user plane interworking is provided between components of 4G and 5G networks.

  • Patent number: 10823981
Abstract: A deformable membrane assembly comprises an at least partially flexible fluid-filled envelope, one wall of which is formed by an elastic membrane that is held around its edge by a resiliently bendable supporting ring, a fixed support for the envelope and selectively operable means for causing relative movement between the supporting ring and the support for adjusting the pressure of the fluid in the envelope, thereby to cause the membrane to deform. The bending stiffness of the ring varies round the ring such that upon deformation of the membrane the ring bends variably to control the shape of the membrane to a predefined form. The moving means comprise a plurality of ring-engaging members that are arranged to apply a force to the ring at spaced control points.

  • Publication number: 20200327252
Abstract: A system allows the identification and protection of sensitive data in a multiple ways, which can be combined for different workflows, data situations or use cases. The system scans datasets to identify sensitive data or identifying datasets, and to enable the anonymisation of sensitive or identifying datasets by processing that data to produce a safe copy. Furthermore, the system prevents access to a raw dataset. The system enables privacy preserving aggregate queries and computations. The system uses differentially private algorithms to reduce or prevent the risk of identification or disclosure of sensitive information. The system scales to big data and is implemented in a way that supports parallel execution on a distributed compute cluster.

  • Patent number: 10804717
Abstract: A resettable battery input control apparatus includes disconnect circuitry that allows for a battery or other power source to be disconnected from a load in an electronic device. A processor, such as a power management integrated circuit, may assess operating data indicative of operation of the electronic device. If the processor determines a fault condition, the disconnect circuitry is activated. In the event that the processor itself fails, the disconnect circuitry will fail safe and disconnect the battery from the load. Once disconnected, the battery remains disconnected until external power is applied. In one implementation the disconnect circuitry may comprise a field-effect transistor acting as a low-side switch that operates to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery from the load.

  • Patent number: 10787412
Abstract: Disclosed is the integration of the production of acetic anhydride from ketene, and the acetylation of wood using acetylation fluid comprising acetic acid and acetic anhydride. The invention involves recirculating acetylation fluid recovered from wood acetylation to a unit for the production of acetic anhydride from acetic acid and ketene. The acetic anhydride product stream can, in turn, be directly used as a wood acetylation fluid.

  • Patent number: 10752427
Abstract: The actuator includes a shroud adapted to be situated on an aerosol container over the stem and an actuation member mounted on and moveable within the shroud to depress the stem by the application of an external force applied to the top surface of the actuation member. The actuation member includes a nozzle and a conduit for connecting the stem and the nozzle. A hood is normally positioned to block the actuation member from being moved to depress the stem. A locking member normally intersects the path of movement of the hood to lock the hood in its blocking position. The locking member has two sections both of which must be simultaneously moved to a position remote from the path of hood movement such that the hood may be moved from its blocking position, allowing the actuation member to be moved to depress the stem.
