  • Patent number: 10030619
Abstract: A connector for mounting a sensor such as a pressure sensor in a fuel system includes a connector body and a tube body. The tube body has sealing surfaces at opposite axial ends that are structured to bias rotation of the connector body and the tube body to occur relative to one another rather than the connector body causing the tube body to rotate against a housing of a fluid reservoir in the system. Deformation of the housing is limited by way of the biasing of rotation.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 7, 2016
Date of Patent: July 24, 2018
    Assignee: Caterpillar Inc.
