Publication number: 20260064109Abstract: A system may comprise a neural network trained to predict mechanical damage to field-deployed industrial equipment with a main or supplementary function to transfer heat change phase, or drive/limit a reaction. The neural network may be trained using an idealized geometry. A processor may receive process input data from the equipment and may provide the data to the trained neural network. The processor may generate a prediction of mechanical damage using the trained neural network and the process input data. The process input data may comprise temperature data collected during operation. A scanning device may generate a digital twin of at least a portion of the equipment through scanning and ultrasonic testing. A monitoring module may monitor processes through a control system to collect the process input data. The neural network may comprise a convolutional neural network configured to calculate damage using a surrogate model.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2025Publication date: March 5, 2026Inventor: Benjamin Turner

Publication number: 20250385576Abstract: A motor assembly for driving a pump or rotary device features a power plane with a circular geometry to be mounted inside a space envelope having a similar circular geometry formed on an end-plate between an inner hub portion and a peripheral portion that extends circumferentially around the space envelope of the end-plate. The power plane is a multi-layer circuit board or assembly having: a power layer with higher temperature power modules for providing power to a motor, a control layer with lower temperature control electronics modules for controlling the power provided to the motor, and a thermal barrier and printed circuit board layer between the power layer and the control layer that provides electrical connection paths between the power modules of the power plane and the control electronics modules of the control layer, and also provides insulation between the power layer and the control layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 11, 2025Publication date: December 18, 2025Inventors: Benjamin Turner, Luca Rovere, Liliana Vittoria De Lillo, Lee Empringham

Patent number: 12247736Abstract: A compact thermal oxidizer is disclosed, comprising a combustion chamber and a series of ducts including a first duct, a second duct, a third duct, and a fourth duct. The combustion chamber is connected to the first duct, which in turn directs fluid flow into the second duct in an antiparallel direction to the combustion chamber. The second duct is linked to the third duct, which guides the fluid flow into the fourth duct, in aa direction antiparallel to the flow in the second duct and parallel to the flow in the combustion chamber. A refractory lining is disposed on the interior surfaces of the combustion chamber, first duct, and second duct.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2024Date of Patent: March 11, 2025Assignee: Black Lambo LLCInventor: Benjamin Turner

Publication number: 20240242224Abstract: A new method for providing security in the context of transaction processing is disclosed. Machine learning is used to detect the potential for fraud and/or errors, select a payee account and payment rail, and initiate the processing of a payment. The method uses a trained payment method selection model to classify one or more of the candidate payment rails as optimal for transaction processing. The method also includes selecting a payee account that is associated with an identified payee and the selected payment rail, The system uses a payee account validation model to validate that the payee account will process on the selected payment rail. The system will then generate payment initialization data and transmit the data to an entity to originate the payment from the payer account to the selected payee account.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 10, 2024Publication date: July 18, 2024Inventors: Jeffrey Chistolini, Anthony Renzette, Christopher Smith, Benjamin Turner

Patent number: 11620660Abstract: Systems and methods for delivering application media content to multiple social media systems (SMSs) for display to SMS members. The method includes the steps of providing initial application media content to respective SMSs. Once a respective SMS member interacts with the initial content, a social relationship management system (SRMS) receives indication from an SMS of such interaction, and retrieves a unique application media file relating to application media content. The unique application media file is then applied to an application media container file that overcomes certain formatting protocols and requirements of the SMS and enables transmission and delivery of the application media content to the SMS. The application media content is then delivered to the SMS member on the SMS through the application media container file.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 2019Date of Patent: April 4, 2023Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Michael J. Strutton, Paulo Delgado, Slain J. Wilde, Chad Estes, Benjamin Turner, John Schult, John Maxwell, Jason C. Reynolds, Bryan S. Pocius, Horace Williams, II, John B. Nolt

Patent number: 11420172Abstract: A jacketed vessel for temperature control of contents within the vessel is provided. The vessel has a shell and an external jacket through which heating or cooling fluid is circulated. The jacket is formed by a length of conduit arranged in a spiral orientation around the vessel shell. The conduit has a center portion having a concave inner surface and has opposing side portions having convex inner surfaces. Edge sections of each side portion are welded to the exterior surface of the shell to form the jacket. Edge sections of adjacent arcs of conduit may be simultaneously welded to the shell in a single weld pass. The shape of the conduit provides improved heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics, as well as improvements in the vessel manufacturing process.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2019Date of Patent: August 23, 2022Assignee: Hargrove and Associates, Inc.Inventor: Benjamin Turner

Publication number: 20130067039Abstract: Systems and methods of suggesting supplemental data on a computing device are disclosed herein. For example, the supplemental data can be suggested contact data. A request can be sent to retrieve, from at least one remote data source, suggested contact data associated with a contact entry stored on a storage medium communicatively coupled to the computing device. A confidence level can be determined and associated with the suggested contact data. A request can be sent to display a prompt comprising the suggested contact data on a computing device. Additionally, a confirmation indicative of one of an acceptance of the suggested contact data and a rejection of the suggested contact data can be received. In one example, the confidence level associated with the contact data can be modified in response to the confirmation received.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 13, 2011Publication date: March 14, 2013Applicant: RESEARCH IN MOTION LIMITEDInventors: Matt Hartzler, Benjamin Turner
