  • Publication number: 20040248190
Abstract: The present invention provides various antibody and nucleic acid compositions useful in the differential diagnosis of hydatidiform mole. In particular, the invention discloses compositions comprising antibodies specifically targeted to bind to amino acid residues 102-120 or 134-152 of the human IPL protein, as well as compositions comprising nucleic acids that specifically hybridize to target nucleic acids encoding amino acid residues 102-120 or 134-152 of the human IPL protein. The invention further discloses methods of using the subject antibody and nucleic acid compositions to differentially diagnose complete hydatidiform mole in a subject. Also provided are kits for diagnosing complete hydatidiform mole, where the kits comprise the antibodies or nucleic acids of the present invention.
