Abstract: A container includes a base, a folding sleeve and a lid. The sleeve includes several panels configured to be folded and laid out on the base such that the panels extend approximately parallel to the base, and to be unfolded and placed on the base such that the panels extend approximately perpendicular to the base, bearing through lower edges of the panels on the base, the lid being capable of bearing on top edges of the panels when the sleeve is unfolded and placed on the base. The container includes at least one band of flexible material that is fixed to the lid at at least two distant points, and that passes through an orifice in at least one of the panels, the lid configured to be guided by the at least one band when the container is opened, by sliding of the band in the orifice over at least part of the length of the band between said two points.
