Abstract: A system for generating an advertising schedule is provided. The system comprises a data source and one or more computers connected to the data source. The computers are configured to execute one or more applications related to the generation of an advertising schedule. The system further comprises a network connecting the one or more computers and the data source. The one or more applications are executed on the one or more computers and interact with the data source to automatically generate the advertising schedule based on an inventory of available advertising slots characterized by a projected audience and one or more scheduling criteria for each advertisement to be scheduled.

Abstract: A system for determining the lifecycle stage of a corporation using quantitative measures is provided. The system comprises a lifecycle model definition component. The lifecycle model definition component is configured to define one or more lifecycle models. Each lifecycle model is associated with a set of quantitative measures and a set of rules. The system further comprises a lifecycle stage inference component and a lifecycle stage determination component. The lifecycle stage inference component is configured to infer a particular lifecycle stage for the corporation based on the set of quantitative measures and the set of rules associated with each lifecycle model. The lifecycle stage determination component is configured to combine the inferences made by the lifecycle inference component to determine an overall lifecycle stage for the corporation.

Abstract: A television network broadcast system includes a scheduling component that includes a user interface accessible by all users who contribute to the creation of a schedule and a plurality of nodes configured to perform actions based on receipt of messages. The nodes include at least one of groups, filters, clients, and servers. The actions include at least one of pass the message along, take a specific action based on receipt of a specific message, block certain types of messages, and initiate new messages.
