  • Publication number: 20220041458
Abstract: A method of making a synthetic hectorite-type mineral is described, along with its resulting physical and rheological properties. The synthetic hectorite-type mineral is a 2:1 phyllosilicate essentially free of aluminum, and having a trioctahedral structure with Mg2+ and Li+ occupying octahedral sites. As a hydrogel, the synthetic hectorite-type mineral has a swell index of greater than 55 mL, and a yield point of greater than 290 Pa. The method of making uses a MgO/MgCO3 buffer system, with heating for about 2 hours at temperatures of no higher than 300° C. and pressures of no higher than 600 psi.

  • Publication number: 20160027032
Abstract: An invitation tag has a substrate and a vendor account activation code displayed on the substrate. The vendor account activation code is configured to direct a vendor to create a vendor account on an administrative server. The administrative server is configured to administrate a beneficiary account, the vendor account and a supporter account. The beneficiary account includes beneficiary information and beneficiary user account settings and beneficiary account bank information so that the administrative server can send instructions to financial institutions to direct funds to the beneficiary account. The invitation tag optionally has a unique randomly generated identification number that associates the vendor account to the beneficiary account and the supporter account. The invitation tag may also have beneficiary account indicia identifying the beneficiary and supporter account indicia identifying the supporter.

  • Patent number: 6615131
Abstract: An enhanced operating environment for an Interactive Real-Time Distributed Navigation system is disclosed. In the present invention, an enhanced operating environment is provided by improving input and output techniques in a navigation system. Disclosed are methods for reducing the number of inputs to a navigational sytstem through a wireless device. Improved input methods include methods for entering non-deterministic information to retrieve deterministic information. Also disclosed are improved output techniques including methods for pacing navigational prompts provided by a navigation system. The invention is applicable to text, graphics or audible navigation systems.

  • Patent number: 6405123
Abstract: A method and system for interactive real-time distributed navigation employs improved techniques for input and output. The method and system may receive inputs through a wireless device. The operating environment simplifies and reduces these inputs. In some embodiments, the system receives non-deterministic input to generate deterministic information using a number of methods. The system may also employ improved output techniques including methods for pacing navigational prompts provided by a navigation system, and methods of providing navigational information to a number of users. The method and system are applicable to text, graphics or audible navigation systems.
