Publication number: 20200247419Abstract: A drive device and methods for operating a drive device of a motor vehicle, having an internal combustion engine, an electric machine, and a dual-clutch transmission. The dual-clutch transmission has two clutches, by means of which the transmission can be connected to the internal combustion engine. At least the internal combustion engine is actuated in a driving operation in order to generate a target drive torque, and the clutches are actuated in opposite directions for a gear shift. During a gear shift, the electric machine, which is connected to the dual-clutch transmission without a clutch, is actuated such that the electric machine completely or partly generates the target torque at least temporarily.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 24, 2020Publication date: August 6, 2020Inventors: Benjin Luo, Michael Lehner, Rainer Gasper, Thomas Huber

Patent number: 8752805Abstract: A pressure control valve includes a housing, a valve slide guided in the housing, on which at least one inflow control edge is configured, which cooperates with an inflow opening in the housing, a constriction in piston being present adjacent to inflow control edge, which lies at least approximately opposite to a control opening. It is provided that the valve slide have a circumferential annular groove, which lies on the side of the inflow control edge facing away from the constriction and approximately opposite the inflow opening.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2010Date of Patent: June 17, 2014Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Martin Pilz, Benjin Luo, Mehmet-Fatih Sen, Frank Wauro, David Jayanth

Patent number: 8356969Abstract: Pumping units are known to have an inlet channel, opening out into a pumping channel and tapering from an inlet cross section to an outlet into the pumping channel with an outlet cross-section. The flow is deflected through ninety degrees on entry to the pumping channel which induces strong swirling. The transition from the inlet channel into the pumping channel is not optimal for flow. This effect reduces the efficiency of the pumping unit. The inlet flow into the pumping channel is improved in the pumping unit according to the invention and hence efficiency is improved. According to the invention, the outlet is essentially provided in a first quadrant with relation to the inlet cross section and the tapering of the inlet channel essentially occurs in the other three quadrants. The tapering wall of the inlet channel is formed by a plane-generating shape which goes around from one side of the outlet to the other side of the outlet and is shaped to be increasingly flat relative to a plane of the outlet.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 2007Date of Patent: January 22, 2013Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Benjin Luo, Joerg Sigrist, Andreas Gutscher

Publication number: 20080193297Abstract: A delivery unit for delivering fuel from a tank to the internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle comprises an impeller revolving in a pump chamber. The impeller, on at least one end face, has a ring of blades spaced apart from one another in the circumferential direction. The impeller blades each have one front side leading in the direction of revolution and one rear side trailing in the direction of revolution. The blades have at least one triangular, oval, circular, or circular-sector-shaped oblique face on the radially outward front side and/or the radially inward rear side in the region of the end faces, which advantageously enlarges an inflow and outflow face formed between the blades and discharging into the chamber, thereby increasing efficiency of the delivery unit.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 21, 2006Publication date: August 14, 2008Inventors: Fevzi Yildirim, Ulrich Mueller, Benjin Luo
