  • Publication number: 20140020343
Abstract: A tangent stream thermal shrinking device includes a chassis, along two side of which two position adjusting mechanisms are arranged. Each position adjusting mechanism has at least one mounting section, of which the position is adjustable. Mounting seats that are respectively mounted to the mounting sections of the position adjusting mechanisms each form at least one track slot. Hot air dispensers are respectively coupled to the track slots of the mounting seats and are thus angular position adjustable along the track slots to discharge hot air streams along paths that are tangential to a circumference of an article outside which a heat shrink film wraps. A hot air supply device supplies hot air to the hot air dispensers to have the heat shrink film fast and uniformly heated and shrunk for packaging.

  • Publication number: 20070284224
Abstract: A device that rotates the cup-shaped container while the container is conveyed along a conveyer system to enhance properly fitting of a plastic film over the container is provided. The device includes an elongate chassis on which two parallel conveyer belts are movably supported for conveying the container in the longitudinal direction. At least a portion of each belt is inclined toward each other by arranging a transversely movable member under an outer edge of each belt whereby by selectively setting the transverse position of the member, the inclination of the belt is adjusted. Due to the inclination, the container that is positioned on the conveyer belts is in tangential engagement with the belts by an outer rim thereof. The belts are driven in different speeds, and this induces different linear speeds on the portions of the outer rim that engage the belts thereby causing rotation of the container about a center axis thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070284388
Abstract: A device for separating individual cup-shaped containers from a stack of such containers is provided, including a frame, a separating mechanism, an adjusting mechanism, and a power transmission mechanism. The separating mechanism includes at least a pair of screw rods arranged on opposite sides of the frame and substantially parallel to and spaced from each other to receive the stack therebetween. The power transmission mechanism is coupled to the screw rods by mated gears for driving rotation of the screw rods. The screw rods have screws engaging outer rim of each individual container and having an increased pitch whereby when the screw rods rotate, the container is driven forward in a given direction and is increasingly spaced from the other containers due to the increased screw pitch. The adjusting mechanism is coupled to the screw rods to selectively adjust the distance between the screw rods for accommodating containers of different specifications.

  • Patent number: 7231748
Abstract: An adjusting device that is mounted in a film packaging machine includes a moving mechanism that selectively moves two support blocks in opposite directions and toothed wheels mounted to the support blocks in a symmetric manner and driven by a timing belt that is mechanically coupled to a motor for rotating film drive rollers that are mounted to selected ones of the toothed wheels. Thus, the film drive rollers are movable in opposite directions with the support blocks for adjusting the distance between the rollers, which allows for accommodation of packaging films of different sizes between the rollers, while not interfering with the operation of the film drive roller for driving the packaging film therebetween. This arrangement allows for uniform application of driving force to the film by the film drive rollers and thus realizing smooth and stable movement of the film in packaging an article.

  • Patent number: 7028452
Abstract: A packaging device includes a film fitting mechanism, a film shrinking mechanism and a controller. The film fitting mechanism fits a tubular heat shrinkage film over a film cylinder and moves the film a distance along the cylinder and cuts a length of the film off. The length of the film is then conveyed to the film shrinking mechanism. The film shrinking mechanism is arranged next to the film fitting mechanism and includes a base for supporting an article to be packed with the film that is cut by the film fitting mechanism and heating units for supplying high temperature air flows to the film thereby making the film shrink and tightly wrap over the article. The controller controls and coordinates the operations between the film fitting mechanism and the film shrinking mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20030200722
Abstract: A heat sealing device includes a frame rotatably supporting gears and comprising four fixed upright guide rods. Upper and lower members, in the form of U-shape, are movable along the guide rods between engaging position and separated position. The upper and lower members each have four racks respectively engaging the gears whereby the upper and lower members are movable synchronously. A power cylinder has a rod mounted to the upper member for driving the upper and lower members toward/away from each other. Heating elements are mounted to the upper and lower members and are substantially opposite to each other. The upper and lower members are maintained substantially parallel to each other during the movement thereof whereby a uniform sealing pressure is applied to the heating elements of the upper and lower members to achieve high quality sealing results.

  • Publication number: 20030192285
Abstract: A packaging machine includes a supply of a package film and a wrapping/sealing section into which products to be packaged are conveyed. A package film tension adjusting device is arranged between the supply of the package film and the wrapping/sealing section for routing the package film to the wrapping/sealing section and for adjusting the tension of the package film supplied to the wrapping/sealing section. The package film tension adjusting device includes a chassis inside which two rails are fixed. Two slide blocks are movably supported on the rails and are movable toward/away from the wrapping/sealing section along the rails. A conveyor is supported on the slide blocks for conveying the products into the wrapping/sealing section. Film routing members are attached to the conveyor for routing the package film toward the wrapping/sealing section.

  • Patent number: 6550219
Abstract: A packaging machine includes a machine chassis and a sealing device supported on the machine chassis. The sealing device includes upper and lower movable members each carrying heat-sealing blades for performing heat-sealing operation of a package film enclosing an article to be packaged. A driving system is arranged in the machine chassis, including a power cylinder or a solenoid mechanically coupled to the upper and lower movable members by a linkage for reciprocally driving the upper and lower members between an open position where the members are separated from each other at a predetermined distance and a closed position where the heat-sealing blades engage each other. An adjustment device includes a screw rod threadingly engaging the machine chassis and a platform attached to an end of the screw rod.

  • Publication number: 20020178690
Abstract: A sealing device forms a sealing line on a package film enclosing an article with the package film being properly tensioned. The sealing device includes two conveyor belts for conveying the article and the package film in a forward direction. The conveyor belts are spaced from each other in the forward direction, defining a gap therebetween. A movable carrier plate carries and supports upper and lower sealing members with the conveyor belts arranged between the upper and lower members. The upper and lower members, to which heat sealing blades are attached, are moveable with respect to each other through the gap between the conveyor belts for bringing heat sealing blade to engage the package film, and thus forming a sealing line on the package film. A stationary bottom plate is arranged below the carrier plate and supports a plurality of guide rods movably engaging the carrier plate for guiding the movement of the carrier plate with respect to the conveyor belts.

  • Patent number: 5791220
Abstract: A cutting device of packing apparatus includes at least three cutting blades arranged around the packing material expanding cylinder in a substantially equally-spaced manner. The cutting blades are rotatable about their own rotational axes in a synchronous manner for cutting off the continuous packing material along a circumferential slit formed on the cylinder. This simplifies the overall structure by eliminating a mechanism to move the blades around the cylinder. By using a number of blades rotatable in synchronization with each other, the time period for a single blade in contact engagement with the packing material to be cut off is substantially reduced and the efficiency of the cutting operation is enhanced. Due to the enhanced efficiency, the delay of time in the alternation of the feeding operation and cutting operation is lowered down.
