  • Patent number: 4372716
Abstract: An improved trolley structure for a freight bracing bulkhead assembly. The sprocket wheels of the trolley structure are designed to cooperate with the same apertures in supporting tracks located in a cargo area as cooperate with the locking pins of the bulkhead assembly. The sprocket wheels are mounted on the trolley shaft by means which permit the axis of each sprocket wheel to shift relative to the axis of the trolley shaft. A safety member is provided to prevent vertical disengagement of the sprocket wheels from the tracks.

  • Patent number: 4345862
Abstract: A freight bracing bulkhead assembly having a bulkhead with easily removable freight engaging panels. The bulkhead is adopted to be suspended from a trolley system cooperating with overhead tracks in a cargo area for movement along the tracks. Locking means cooperating with the overhead tracks and with cooperating plates on the floor of the cargo area are actuated between a locked position and a released position by a linkage assembly located exteriorly of the modular panels.

  • Patent number: 4342267
Abstract: A hopper discharge unit for attachment to the bottom of a hopper has upright side and sloping end walls all terminating in horizontally inwardly directed flanges defining between them a rectangular outlet opening, with the side walls extended rearwardly beyond the sloping rear end wall to form a support for a sliding gate, which is perforated along its sides to form racks engaged by pinions on a transverse operating shaft journaled in the side wall extensions above the gate. To provide a tight seal the flange on the rear end wall is spaced above the side wall flanges to overlie the gate and a second longitudinal flange co-planar with the rear end wall flange is similarly spaced above the side wall flanges to overlie and cover the rack perforations in the gate when the gate is closed.

  • Patent number: 4281870
Abstract: A deck assembly for a vehicle freight container, e.g., a highway trailer, comprising a series of panels which extend across the container and rest on side rails to provide a second floor for lading spaced above the main floor of the container, the panels being hinged to opposed side walls of the container in a manner to permit storage against the side walls above the side rails. The panels are pivoted at two corners, one pivot being a universal joint and the other being detachable from the side wall to permit the panels to be rotated about both a vertical and a horizontal axis for moving them from stored to operative position and vice versa.
