  • Patent number: 10154462
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a CDMA communication node arrangement comprising at least two spatially separated antenna units, at least one radio unit and at least one control unit. Each antenna unit has at least one corresponding coverage area and is connected to the central unit. The control unit is arranged to alter transmitting properties of at least a first antenna unit, to a user terminal, such that more or less power is transmitted by the first antenna unit in a dedicated channel. The control unit is arranged to monitor received inner power control loop commands when at least a second antenna unit is communicating with the user terminal, and to determine whether said first antenna unit should start or stop communicating with the user terminal, or continue as before, based on how the inner power control loop commands respond. The present disclosure also relates to a corresponding method.

  • Publication number: 20150223229
Abstract: A Radio Network Node (RNN) 102, and a method therein, for reception of data comprised in an UL transmission on a common channel. The RNN serves a primary cell 104 comprising a primary antenna (110). The RNN, the primary cell and at least one secondary antenna 112,116 are comprised in a communications system 100. Further, a user equipment (UE) 108 is located in the primary cell. The RNN adds the primary antenna 110 and the at least one secondary antenna 112,116 to a set of receiving antennas. The primary and secondary antennas received a transmission from the UE. The secondary antenna is comprised in the primary cell or in the at least one secondary cell. Further, the RNN receives the data comprised in the UL transmission from all antennas comprised in the set of receiving antennas.

  • Patent number: 6297763
Abstract: A method is provided of optimizing, within an area which itself contains a number of part areas, the coverage of a sensor which has an angle-dependent range in a least one plane, and which sensor is in addition arranged on a mobile platform. The method includes determining at least two movement directions for the sensor platform, determining a center of movement for the two movement directions, and also determining periods of time during which the sensor platform is to move in each of the two movement directions. The center of movement of the platform is preferably located within the search area.

  • Patent number: 6239739
Abstract: Methods of associating a first target track and one of a group of target tracks measured by a radar system, in which the first target track is compared with each of the target tracks in the group of target tracks based on movement between two selected target positions, one in each of the two target tracks. Predetermined maximum numbers of changes in target parameters such as course and speed are assumed to have been able to take place during the movement, and a target parameter for the two positions is allowed to vary while other target parameters are kept constant. A possible range for the varying parameter is determined that is consistent with movement between the two positions, and if a measured value of the varying parameter lies within the range, target tracks are associated with each other.
