    Abstract: A toilet seat closing device incorporating a reversible DC electric motor connected through a three position reversible ratchet clutch mechanism to the toilet seat. A control circuit incorporating a timer is set when the toilet seat is raised and is adapted to energize the electric motor at the expiration of a predetermined time interval for moving the toilet seat from the raised position to a lowered position.
