  • Publication number: 20180070144
Abstract: A processing device of a mobile device of a first user presents a graphical user interface (GUI) of an application providing group communication between the first user and one or more other users in a group, the GUI comprising a portion to receive a message of the first user for adding to the group communication, and a video sharing GUI element selectable by the first user to find a video to be added to the group communication. The processing device receives, via the GUI, a selection of the video sharing GUI element by the first user. Responsive to the selection of the video sharing GUI element, the processing device presents a plurality of video identifiers of videos having playback associated with the first user. Responsive to a selection of at least one of the plurality of video identifiers of at least one selected video, the processing device causes the at least one selected video to be added to the group communication.

  • Patent number: 9847990
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining applications that are co-installed on a device. In an aspect, a system includes a registration component that receives, from a device, a request to register a first application provided on the device with a notification service, the request comprising an account identifier associated with a user identity, a session token, and an identifier for the first application. The session token is derived from an authentication token that is unique to the user identity and the device. The system further includes an authentication component configured to authenticate the user identity using the session token, and a fingerprint component configured to receive a fingerprint of the authentication token based on authentication of the user identity using the session token, wherein the registration component is configured to associate the account identifier, the identifier for the first application, and the fingerprint with one another in a database.

  • Publication number: 20170031907
Abstract: A system for identifying and/or recommending relevant media content is provided. The system includes a relevancy component, a classification component and a notification component. The relevancy component determines a topic or an event related to media content and associates the media content with a group of media content based on the topic or the event. The classification component assigns a classifier value to the media content based on data associated with the media content and the group of media content. The notification component generates a notification message associated with the media content for a user based on the classifier value and a temporal-based relevancy value generated as a function of user context.

  • Patent number: 9235625
Abstract: A processing device identifies a plurality of media items that have been accessed by a user. The processing device determines a plurality of annotations in the plurality of media items that identify a plurality of media content sources. The processing device calculates scores for the plurality of media content sources, wherein a score for a media content source of the plurality of media content sources is calculated based at least in part on a quantity of the plurality of annotations that identify the media content source. The processing device ranks the plurality of media content sources based on the calculated scores. The processing device the provides one or more ranked media content sources for presentation to the user.

  • Publication number: 20150106444
Abstract: A user of a content sharing platform is identified a playlist is generated for the user. The playlist is generated based on one or more of the user's social interactions with other entities and the user's actions associated with other media items. The playlist may be modified or deleted if the user does not access the playlist or does not consume media items from the playlist within a threshold period of time.

  • Patent number: 7660863
Abstract: A method for communication between a first unit and a second unit via a telecommunications network, wherein the first unit comprises a first family of applications and a second family of applications having communication capacities on the network extending beyond communication capacities of the applications of the first family, the method including: obtaining, by a confidence component belonging to the second family of applications a statement of a question to be posed to a user of the first unit in the context of an execution of an application of the first family; presenting the question by the confidence component via a user interface and capturing a response from the user by the confidence component; and for at least one type of response from the user, transmitting from the confidence component to the second unit, via the network, at least one message identifying the question presented and indicating the response captured, said message being transmitted under conditions inaccessible to the applications of

  • Patent number: 7581109
Abstract: For signing of data by a given one of M delegates mandated by N titleholders, where M?2 and N=1 or M=1 and N?2, the terminal of the given delegate reads in a delegation server information on the delegates and the titleholders of the group thus constituted. The data and the information read and a private key of the given delegate are applied to a cryptographic algorithm to produce a signature which therefore carries a cryptographic delegation mark. The data, information, and signature are transmitted to a user terminal that can trace the characteristics of the signature delegation.
