  • Publication number: 20250041525
Abstract: A stopper for a syringe including a body having a tail adapted for attachment to a plunger of the syringe, and a head, the head having a outer surface that is convex, such that the outer surface is curved with an apex of the curvature extending away from a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the stopper and comprising an outer perimeter of the outer surface and the apex of the outer surface of the head is higher than the outer perimeter of the outer surface when the stopper is viewed from a side in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the stopper. The stopper may optionally include a plurality of protrusions extending from an outer surface of the head. Also, a syringe including such a stopper.

  • Publication number: 20250032720
Abstract: A stopper for a syringe including a body having a tail adapted for attachment to a plunger of the syringe, a head, and, optionally, a plurality of annular ribs and grooves around the circumference of the outer sidewall of the body, where the ribs are separated by the grooves. The stopper includes a plurality of protrusions extending from an outer surface of the tail and/or the head and/or a plurality of protrusions extending outwardly from the outer sidewall from within at least one groove. The protrusions extending from an outer surface of the tail and/or the head are arranged in at least one circle, and an angular distance between two adjacent protrusions in the circle is less than the angular distance occupied by one of the protrusions. Also, a syringe including such a stopper.

  • Publication number: 20230218830
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for reducing an amount of sub visible particles in a pharmaceutical composition contained in a medical injection device comprising a container (1) including a barrel (10) lubricated with a lubricant coating (2) in contact with the pharmaceutical composition, and a stopper (14) in sliding engagement within the barrel (10), the container comprising a region (130, 121, 123) extending distally from the distal end (100) of the barrel which is not accessible to the stopper. During formation of said lubricant coating (2) on the inner wall of the barrel, the method comprises limiting lubricant from being deposited into said region (130, 121, 123) extending distally from the distal end (100) of the barrel.

  • Patent number: 8435912
Abstract: A supported and sulphur-containing catalyst is described, comprising; a porous support constituted by an organic-inorganic hybrid material for which the covalent bond between the organic and inorganic phases conforms to the formula M-O—Z—R where M represents at least one metal constituting the inorganic phase, Z at least one heteroelement from among phosphorus and silicon and R an organic fragment, at least one metal of group VIB and/or of group VB and/or of group VIII. The invention also relates to the use of this catalyst for the hydrorefining and the hydroconversion of hydrocarbon-containing feedstocks such as petroleum fractions, fractions from coal or biomass or hydrocarbons produced from natural gas.
