    Abstract: A method for evaluating damage and providing passenger assistance in emergency events involving mass transit vehicles (MTVs), especially emergency events occurring in a tunnel, includes: (a) providing, on-board the MTV, at least one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), each UAV including a controller comprising a processor and memory; (b) determining, by the controller of the UVA while on-board the MTV in the tunnel, a change in at least one of the following: an acceleration, positive or negative, greater than a predetermined acceleration, an angle greater than a predetermined angle, a temperature greater than a predetermined temperature, and the presence of particles, gas or both greater than a predetermined concentration; (c) in response to the determining in step (b), the UAV separating from the MTV and becoming airborne within the tunnel; and (d) following step (c), executing, by the UAV, flight movement of the UAV within the tunnel.

    Abstract: A rail vehicle includes a car body having both a passenger space and a stowage space that is provided with a controller and at least one station for accommodating light electric vehicles. The stations have a chassis, a holding structure, a locking mechanism, and a power outlet. The holding structure can hold the light electric vehicle stationary. The locking mechanism can retain the light electric vehicle in the holding structure. The power outlet can deliver electrical power to a battery of the light electric vehicle when the light electric vehicle is secured in the holding structure and connected to the power outlet. The power outlet can be connected to an electrical power network of the rail vehicle. The controller can selectively send a release signal to the locking mechanism, so as to release the locking mechanism, and to selectively operate the power outlet so as to deliver the electrical power.

According to the present invention, the method comprises the step consisting of deforming the cylindrical rim (28, 34) in the direction of the annular surface (26, 26?) in order to envelop the peripheral flange (24) of the lens (18) and hold it in place without play and without requiring an additional component, this deformation of the cylindrical rim (28, 34) being performed by applying on this rim a force parallel to the optical axis (A—A) of the lighting or signalling device.
