  • Publication number: 20240346212
Abstract: This method for determining a frictional coefficient of an aircraft on a runway includes the steps of: producing a database of frictional coefficients simulated for various types of aircraft and various runway conditions by applying simulation data to models representing the braking of aircraft when landing, for various braking scenarios; and predicting a frictional coefficient from real data of the aircraft for which the frictional coefficient is determined from data stored in the database.

  • Publication number: 20060005594
Abstract: A hollow blade is shaped by superplastic inflation of a blank made up of welded-together sheets. A die comprising two hollow shapes clamping the outline of the blank is placed inside an autoclave-forming enclosure in order to subject the blank to superplastic inflation, and the two hollow shapes are united by U-shaped clamps made of a material having a coefficient of thermal expansion that is smaller than that of the material constituting said shapes.

  • Patent number: 6328827
Abstract: In order to obtain sheets made of a nickel-based superalloy of type 718 having properties of superplasticity, the sheets are manufactured with a final cycle comprising the steps of: a) solution treatment at 1060° C. for 15 minutes; b) precipitation at 730° C. to 800° C. for 1 to 2 hours; c) cold rolling at a ratio greater than 60%, and d) recrystallization at 900° C. for 30 minutes. Superplastic deformation of such sheets is carried out at about 970±10° C. and under pressures inducing stresses between 45 and 60 MPa.
