  • Patent number: 8220728
Abstract: In a facility and a method for separating glass residues from PVB-film, comminuted material is passed through several process steps, where treating with beaters (12) in a chamber (2) is effected in one of the first steps. At the discharge end (18) of the chamber there is arranged a separation, as heavy particular material can be discharged through a perforated bottom section (19) in the chamber (2). Through an air inlet (22) at the side (15) of the chamber, air is drawn in induced by a ventilator-like impeller rotor (28) drawing air in through a central opening (26) spaced apart from the bottom section (19). Thereby, light film-like materials are carried away from the heavy particles.

  • Patent number: 7861959
Abstract: A crushing machine for comminuting laminated glass, particularly windshields for cars, consists of a chamber with cylindric wall (24) in which is suspended a rotor (28) with pivotably beaters (50). Plural layers of laminated glass are fed through a feeding opening (20) through rubber rollers (22) which form an almost airtight lock into the crushing chamber. At the inner side of its wall (24), the chamber is provided with a number of evenly distributed ribs (54) to be impacted by laminated glass pieces, which are subsequently further comminuted by the beaters (50). The crushing chamber is provided with a slot-formed discharge opening (34) which may be varied in width. Outside the discharge opening (34), there is mounted a collecting containing (36) provided with subpressure.

  • Patent number: 7077060
Abstract: A compacting container compresses cellulose-containing waste, paper and cardboard. The container has a filling opening which can be closed by a door and pulling hydraulic cylinders. The door pivots about a horizontal axis at the bottom of the container. A compressor mounted at the filling end, extends across an interior of the container and is suspended by one side edge on a shaft traversing the container at a beam. The waste is filled into the door and its side edges. When the door is full the compressor is activated as respective cylinders pivot the transverse compressor down against the paper waste. Shovelling occurs into the container while the door is simultaneously drawn against the container open end. Waste is compressed into container the interior. A greater container volume is used, and the pressing force is further reduced for simple location of the pulling cylinders along the container sides.

At one end, the container has a filling opening which can be closed by a door (4) by means of pulling hydraulic cylinders (10). The door is suspended pivotably about a horizontal axis (5) at the lower edge of the door and at the bottom of the container. The container (2) comprises a compression means (22) mounted at the filling end, extending across the interior of the container and is suspended by one side edge on a shaft (24) traversing the container at a beam (26).
