  • Patent number: 8190328
Abstract: An electropneumatic control arrangement for an automatic vehicle level control system, particularly of a commercial vehicle, includes at least; a solenoid valve unit having at least two electropneumatic solenoid valves, a compressed air inlet for infeeding compressed air, at least one compressed air connection for at least one air bellows and electrical control inputs, and an electronic control unit for actuating the solenoid valve unit. The electronic control unit comprises control outputs for electrically connecting to the control inputs of the solenoid valve unit. A plug connector is configured on the housing of the solenoid valve unit, in which the electrical control inputs are disposed, and a plug connector is provided on the housing of the electronic control unit, in which the control outputs are disposed. The plug connectors are mechanically plugged into each other.

  • Publication number: 20110208390
Abstract: The invention relates to an electropneumatic control arrangement for an automatic vehicle level control system, particularly of a commercial vehicle, wherein the control arrangement (1) comprises at least: a solenoid valve unit (2) comprising at least two electropneumatic solenoid valves (3, 4, 5), a compressed air inlet (2.1) for infeeding compressed air (13), at least one compressed air connection (2.2, 2.3) for at least one air bellows (10, 11) and electrical control inputs (22.1, 22.2, 22.3), and an electronic control unit (14) for actuating the solenoid valve unit (2), wherein the electronic control unit (14) comprises control outputs (16.1, 16.2, 16.3) for electrically connecting to the control inputs (22.1, 22.2, 22.3) of the solenoid valve unit (2). According to the invention, a plug connector (22) is configured on the housing (2a) of the solenoid valve unit (2), in which the electrical control inputs (22.1, 22.2, 22.

  • Publication number: 20060033614
Abstract: A sensor having two electrical terminals to both supply energy and to output an output signal of the sensor. The output signal of the sensor can be output via at least one of the electrical terminals without the use of a current source. The sensor includes at least one electrical component that needs an electrical energy supply to operate. The sensor also includes an output circuit which outputs the output signal by modulation of the voltage potential at at least one of the two electrical terminals. The sensor further includes a voltage-supply circuit for generating a supply voltage from the voltage potentials present at the two electrical terminals to supply energy to the electrical component.

  • Patent number: 6234493
Abstract: A level control system controls the distance between the vehicle axles and the vehicle frame of a vehicle. The suspension is a full or partial air suspension, wherein the vehicle frame over the vehicle axles is supported via air suspension bellows. A vehicle inclination, i.e. a non-parallel alignment between vehicle frame and one or more of vehicle axles may occur as a result of various situations which may be dramatically different from one another. Uneven support of the vehicle represents one cause of vehicle inclination, for example, when one wheel of a vehicle axle is standing on the sidewalk. In order to avoid air losses, a vehicle level is not compensated for while the vehicle is stopped. Instead, the existing inclination is maintained and is entered into the control system as a target level. All level changes which occur due to changes in the load of the vehicle are compensated for by means of this prescribed target value.

  • Patent number: 4859942
Abstract: The arrangement comprises, a circuit arrangement for measuring the inductance of an inductive displacement or position sensor having a magnetic coil and a magnetic circuit including a movable iron core; a constant controlled current source connected to the magnetic coil; a switch for cutting off the constant controlled current fed to the magnetic coil; a cut-off voltage induced into the coil; and an electronic circuit for measuring the decay time of the current flowing through the coil after the switch is opened. The material for the magnetic circuit and the coil for the inductive displacement sensor is selected such that the temperature coefficients of the coil and the magnetic circuit compensate each other.
