  • Patent number: 11911288
Abstract: An embodiment includes an orthopedic fusion system comprising: a cage; a curved first channel coupling a lateral wall of the cage to a superior surface of the cage; a curved second channel coupling the lateral wall of the cage to an inferior surface of the cage; a third channel coupling the superior surface of the cage to the inferior surface of the cage; a curved first anchor configured to slide within the first channel; a curved second anchor configured to slide within the second channel; and a resilient member comprising a resilient first arm that projects across a portion of the first channel and a resilient second arm that projects across a portion of the second channel. Other embodiments are described herein.

  • Patent number: 4291751
Abstract: Disclosed is a thermal inverter arrangement and method for controlling air temperatures and currents within a building utilizing an underground plenum chamber having a plurality of transverse screens with thermal conducting poles attached thereto. Through the use of thermal differentials and an exhaust duct cooperatively aligned to receive favorable outside winds, natural air movements create a continuous draft from outside the building, through the plenum chamber, then through the building, and back outside again through the exhaust duct.

  • Patent number: 4238326
Abstract: Disclosed is a fluid processing apparatus and method wherein a plurality of alternating, permanently magnetic cathode plates and anode plates having applied thereto frequency controlled, square wave pulses superimposed over a constant base voltage so as to create an electric field which is substantially perpendicular to the magnetic field of the cathode plates. An alternative embodiment includes a centrally disposed electromagnet for creating a second magnetic field. A downstream water coalescer and molecular sieve are optionally employed depending upon the intended use of the apparatus and method.
