  • Patent number: 9970822
Abstract: A host device and temperature monitoring device (TMD) integrated assembly that can automatically collect temperature data and interface with a workflow management system. The TMD is provided in a portable housing and incorporates one or more temperature sensors, such as a physical probe, infrared sensor, or RFID transceiver, along with an interface for communicating via a wired connection with a host device that has been programmed with temperature management tasks. The TMD may be used to automatically collect temperatures and provide the data to the host for monitoring and tracking as part of a comprehensive workflow management system that includes food safety monitoring and compliance programs.

  • Publication number: 20070121988
Abstract: Embodiments of a speaker assembly and cooperating suspension ring designed to allow installation of the assembly in a horizontal ceiling tile from below are disclosed. The speaker assembly includes a body or housing with a flange at one end. The body has a diameter that allows it to fit through a hole the ceiling tile and the suspension ring. The assembly is further provided with clamps attached to the flange next to the body. In order to bring the flange into contact with the ceiling tile, the assembly must be aligned so that the clamps penetrate cooperating voids in the suspension ring. The assembly is then rotated in a direction depending on the tile thickness and lowered into a position where the clamps engage with projections on the suspension ring so that the suspension ring supports the weight of the assembly.

  • Patent number: 3943006
Abstract: Electrode structures for fuel cells are made by blending noble metal black, dry polytetrafluoroethylene and a soluble bulking agent in a liquid, filtering liquid from the blend and rolling the remnant to form a sheet of fibrillated polytetrafluoroethylene containing noble metal black and bulking agent. The bulking agent may be leached from the sheet and the sheet then pressed or the sheet may be first pressed and the bulking agent then leached from the sheet.

  • Patent number: 3935029
Abstract: An electrode substrate is described which is suitable for supporting noble metal electrodes in fuel cells and similar electrochemical cells. It is composed of fine graphite particles enmeshed in a web of fibers of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) produced by forming a homogeneous mixture of graphite particles and PTFE powder in an organic liquid, removing the liquid, and milling the mixture in a series of steps to form a thin, porous, electrically conductive sheet of graphite-PTFE which is an excellent support for thin film metallic electrodes and which is resistant to corrosive electrolytes.
