Abstract: A beverage dispensing assemblage or device is provided which includes light emitting means adapted to project light upward so as to highlight a selected portion of the ceiling or other features located above the device. The beam can project unencumbered light or words or images comprising customer information. It allows for simple inexpensive and rapid changes in the message projected.

Abstract: Provided is a device for facilitating withdrawal of filled beverage cans or the like articles from a carton. The device consists of an elongated member having located at one end, a cover adapted when the device is located under a layer of cans in a carton to close a can access port in a wall of the container and at the other end a can restraining ridge adapted to pass under a bottom row of cans in the carton but urge the adjacent can toward said port upon controlled withdrawal of the device from the carton. The invention also provides the combination of the device and a carton filled with a full complement of cans and having a potential can-access opening in a side wall.

The device comprises a frame which, when inserted into the empty carton, provides a number of similar sized cells or compartments equal to the number of bottles which would completely fill the carton. The frame is maintained by support means above the shoulders of the bottles when located in the carton. Each bottle is inserted into, and its main body passes through, the frame until the bottle sits on the carton floor, the walls of each cell preventing a bottle in that cell from toppling over and hindering the insertion of further bottles and completion of filling of the carton. Upon completion and filling of the carton, the device is readily removed for reuse and the bottles are maintained in their upright condition by contacting adjacent bottles and the carton walls.
