  • Publication number: 20220142470
Abstract: An optometry device for testing an individual's eye, includes a refraction test unit having an optical system for providing different vision correction powers close to the eye of the individual, and a display unit adapted to produce a visual test image for the individual's eye, the visual test image being visible through an exit aperture of the test unit of the optometry device. The display unit includes a screen adapted to display a test picture used in producing the visual test image and at least one optical element having an optical power. The optical element presents an active state in which it exhibits a non zero refraction power placed on an optical path of the light emitted by the screen and exiting the device through the exit aperture, and an inactive state in which it introduces no refractive power on the optical path.
