Abstract: A projection objective having a fixed focal length for digital projection includes the following arrangement of the lenses in the sequence from the image (enlargement side) to the object (reduction and illumination side): a first, negative lens, a second, negative lens, a third lens, a fourth, positive lens, a fifth lens, a sixth, positive lens, a seventh, negative lens, an eighth, positive lens, and a ninth, positive lens. By means of such an objective, the quality requirements in the field of digital projection can be met with a minimal number of lenses.
