  • Patent number: 11254040
Abstract: A subject of the invention is a process for surfacing or resurfacing a metal part by laser-assisted deposition of a filler material in order to produce an abradable coating of the part, the process being characterized in that the filler material is an iron-based powder comprising vanadium, chromium, nickel, boron, silicon and carbon, in that the laser has an operational wavelength ranging from 900 nm to 1100 nm and in that it comprises the irradiation of the part by a laser beam such that the specific energy (SE) varies from 5 J/mg to 10 J/mg and such that the linear density (LD) varies from 25 mg/mm to 55 mg/mm. Another subject of the invention is the surfaced or resurfaced metal part. Another subject of the invention is a pre-alloy in iron-based powder form, comprising vanadium, chromium, nickel, boron, silicon and carbon.

  • Publication number: 20170129156
Abstract: An Extruder for providing a flow of viscoelastic material such as rubber is disclosed herein. The extruder includes several zones (A, P, H, S), each assigned to a particular rheological function and arranged axially from an upstream end to a downstream end of the extruder and having an endless screw of given diameter (D). In each of the zones, at least one helicoidal flight extends radially from a central shaft of the screw over a height (h1), in a direction and with a pitch which are defined for each of the zones, and which is rotationally driven about an axis (XX?) in a barrel.

  • Publication number: 20100326588
Abstract: Method of manufacturing a tire (1) by winding contiguous strips onto a rotary form at a pitch and in a number of turns that is suited to the desired profile. The method comprises steps that include laying a strip to form the sublayer (13) onto the plies (15) that form the crown reinforcement belt, the strip being made of a rubbery material that is a poor conductor of electricity, laying one or more strips to form the first part of the tread (11A), these being positioned axially on one side of the tire, the strip or strips being made of rubbery materials that are poor conductors of electricity, and laying a strip to form the insert (10) and that is laid in such a way that at least one radially interior turn (100) is in contact with the sublayer (10), the strip being made of a rubbery material that is a conductor of electricity.

  • Publication number: 20080251185
Abstract: A device that enables a rubber strip to be applied to a tire blank. The device comprises a rubber extruder provided with an extrusion orifice for shaping the rubber strip and delivering said strip from the extruder. The orifice is defined by a roller mounted to rotate on the extruder. The device further comprises thrust means for thrusting the roller against the blank so that the roller constitutes an applicator for applying the rubber strip against the blank. The extruder is mounted to pivot about an axis so as to form a lever on which the thrust means act to thrust the roller against the strip.
