  • Publication number: 20240093373
Abstract: A method for preparing antibacterial stainless steel by surface alloying includes the steps of coating an infiltration promoter layer on a stainless steel surface, coating an antibacterial metal layer on a surface of the infiltration promoter layer, and performing heat treatment of the stainless steel to diffuse an antibacterial metal into the stainless steel. This method can be applied to various types of stainless steel, and the antibacterial metal can be diffused and quenched into the stainless steel, such that the finally formed surface of the stainless steel has an antibacterial alloy layer with a specific thickness to provide better corrosion resistance and antibacterial ability without changing the advantages and properties of the antibacterial metal or stainless steel substrate, and the thickness and concentration of the antibacterial metal layer, and the parameters for heat treatment can be adjusted to control the chemical composition and thickness of the antibacterial alloy layer.

  • Publication number: 20080040846
Abstract: An elongated tube (17) of about 4 inch in diameter and about 20+ inches long, with the top cover (13) that is connected to hinges (14), connecting rod (15), and foot paddle (16). The down tube (17) is secured to the floor next to the toilet by connecting coupling (18), which is connected to the sewage system via the drainpipe (20). The lid of the down tube (17) is airtight and can be opened either by stepping on the foot paddle (16), or simply lifting the handle (12). Bagful of urine detached from the V-cup can be disposed off via the down tube into the drainage system just like dropping garbage into a garbage container.

  • Publication number: 20080034481
Abstract: A V-shaped cup with the narrow side (22) and the round side (26), the top opening looking from the side is like a children's slide, this special shape is to maximize the coverage of the female genital area to avoid spillage while urinating into the V-cup. It has two layers of skin, the inner layer (18) which is made of thin collapsible plastic coated with absorbent tissue collar (14) on top, the outer hard shell (28) is made of Styrofoam or insulated paper for strength to grip between the tights. The inner layer (18) is for containment of waste liquid, and the outer shell (28) is for form and grip. Both layers (18) and (28) are disposable after use. However, to further reduce cost and save the environment, the outer shell (28) can be saved and used again by inserting a new layer (18) into it as refill.

  • Patent number: 7121958
Abstract: A golf club head includes a head body having a recessed area defined in a central area of the head body and abutting faces formed along a periphery defining the recessed area. A soldering seam is formed on an outer periphery defining the recessed area and at least one positioning block is formed on one of the abutting faces and has a bottom face flush with a top face of the recessed area. A striking face is abutted to the abutting faces and the bottom face of the positioning block to allow the soldering seam to securely combine the head body and the striking face.

  • Patent number: 6932875
Abstract: A golf club head has a metal base, face and tubular neck and a carbon-fiber cover. The face extends up vertically from one edge of the base. The tubular neck is integrally connected to the base and the face. The cover is made of a carbon-fiber material and is securely attached to the base and the face. Because the carbon-fiber material is lighter than metal, the area of the face is enlarged. In addition, the shock absorbing effect of the golf head club is also improved.

  • Publication number: 20040108089
Abstract: A method for producing a golf club head consists of preparing at least two wax models for the golf club head; combining the at least two wax models; coating the combined wax models with a layer of sand mortar to form a sand mortar mold; removing the wax from the sand mortar mold; pouring molten liquid into the sand mortar mold; breaking the sand mortar mold to leave a metal golf club head. The metal golf club head is further cut off any surplus metal and polished to complete a one-piece metal golf club head.

  • Publication number: 20030139226
Abstract: A golf club head has a body and a carbon filter block. The body has a face defined on one side of the body. A tubular neck is integrally formed on one end of the body. A cavity is defined in the body opposite to the face. The carbon fiber block is mounted in the cavity. Because the carbon fiber material is lighter than metal, the area of the face is enlarged. In addition, a better shock absorbing effect is achieved due to the arrangement of the carbon fiber block.

  • Publication number: 20020004427
Abstract: A golf club head includes a head body with a tapered weighting member formed inside the head. The tapered weighting member has a top portion and a bottom portion having a thickness larger than that of the top portion to provide a low center of gravity in order to maintain stability of the head during a swing. The weighting member is made of metal which has rigidity lower than that of the material made of the head, and the weighting member is evenly formed behind a striking face of the head. By such an arrangement, the head is able to provide a shock absorbability thoughout the entire striking faces.
