  • Patent number: 12574673
Abstract: A headset includes an earpiece with a speaker and a speaker port connectable with an eartip for insertion in an ear. The headset further includes an earhook with a first end coupled with the earpiece, a second end, and a length extending therebetween. The earhook has a transverse cross section along the length. The transverse cross section has a major cross dimension and a minor cross dimension orthogonal to the major cross dimension, the major cross dimension being greater than the minor cross dimension. A cable and a support wire are connected to the earpiece and embedded in the earhook along the length. The cable may include one or more electrical wires connecting the components of the earpiece to a device.

  • Publication number: 20250360393
Abstract: A skate and a replaceable skate blade are disclosed. The skate includes a boot and a blade assembly with a blade holder and a blade removably mounted to the holder. A locking pin is displaceable relative the blade holder between a blade locking position in which a tip of the locking pin is in engagement with the blade and a blade releasing position in which the tip of the locking pin is disengaged from the blade. A pin actuator is engageable by a user for translating the pin actuator along a longitudinal axis of the locking pin, wherein translation of the pin actuator induces translation of the locking pin along the longitudinal axis from the blade locking position to the blade releasing position. A biasing element reacts against the pin actuator and biasing the locking pin in the blade locking position.

  • Patent number: 12102165
Abstract: A sport helmet has an outer shell including a first shell and a second shell movable relative to the first shell; levers hingedly connected to the first shell on left and right sides of the sport helmet for adjustably securing the first and second shells together; and finger-engageable locking actuators for selectively allowing movement of the levers from the engaged position to the disengaged position, the finger-engageable locking actuators being engaged to anchoring projections receivable within anchoring apertures, the finger-engageable locking actuators movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, wherein in the locked position movements of the levers relative to the first shell are limited via the anchoring projections, and wherein in the unlocked position the anchoring projections are disengaged from the anchoring apertures such that the levers are pivotable between the engaged position and the disengaged position.

  • Patent number: 10188934
Abstract: A runner for an ice skate. The runner extends along a longitudinal axis between a front end and an opposed rear end. The runner is entirely metal and has a height extending between an ice-contacting portion for engaging an ice surface and an opposed upper portion. The runner has a datum runner thickness defined between outer and inner side surfaces of the runner. The runner has one or more regions of reduced thickness that are recessed inwardly from one or both of the outer and inner surfaces. The regions have a local thickness being less than the datum runner thickness. An ice skate and method of making a runner for an ice skate are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9855487
Abstract: A blade holder assembly for a skate including a blade holder having an elongated groove defined in a bottom surface, and a recess extending upwardly therefrom in alignment with a pedestal, for engagement with a blade. The pedestal has an internal cavity defined therein separate and spaced from the elongated groove and the recess. A locking arm is engaged to the pedestal and movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking arm has an engagement end protruding into the recess through an opening defined in a wall of the pedestal. A greater portion of the engagement end protrudes into the recess in the locked position than in the unlocked position. At least a major part of the locking arm, including the engagement end, remains outside of the internal cavity of the pedestal in the locked and unlocked positions. A blade assembly is also discussed.
