  • Publication number: 20180028478
Abstract: Pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of a viral infection by a type-A influenza virus are provided. The compositions include a compound having the property of acting as an inhibitor of the attachment of the viral RNA to the nucleoprotein of the type-A influenza virus, the compound having the property of binding to the binding domain of the viral RNA to the nucleoprotein. Methods of treating an infection by influenza virus by administering an effective amount of the compound to a subject are also disclosed. A process for identifying a compound having the property of binding to the binding domain of the viral RNA to the nucleoprotein of the type-A influenza viruses are further disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20160076006
Abstract: The invention relates to thermosensitive mutants of influenza viruses, containing at least one mutation localised in a flexible region of a protein of said virus, such as especially the region of the sub-unit PA of the viral polymerase corresponding to the region 197-225 of the sub-unit PA of influenza A. These viruses can be especially used for preparing attenuated living vaccines.

  • Patent number: 7074460
Abstract: A surface treatment method in which a surface of a part (7) is contacted with at least one activated species. The activated species is obtained by activating a gaseous medium containing at least two of the following elements: carbon, nitrogen, boron and oxygen. Preferably, the activated species is a neutral excited CN species. The activated species brings at least one interstitial element to the metal part (7) surface which is borne and maintained at a temperature enabling the interstitial element to be diffused into a surface layer of the metal part (7).

  • Patent number: 4331223
Abstract: An electrohydraulic rotary brake comprises an inner core, at least one energizing winding, a cylindrical amagnetic insert and an annular part outside the core and the insert. A cylindrical bore is excentric with respect to the cylindrical peripheral surface of the insert, recesses being provided with magnetizable sliding vanes and a brake fluid. On a rotary shaft, are mounted lateral flanges in fluid-tight manner, the inner core being fast to the rotary shaft and to the insert, all three being arranged so as to constitute a rotor for the brake. The annular part outside the core and the insert constitutes an annular stator to which the lateral flanges are fixed and with the bore excentric with respect to the peripheral surface of the insert constituting the outer part of the rotor.
