  • Patent number: 11784505
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for charging an electrochemical cell of a rechargeable battery with charging pulse control (PL), the pulses (PL) being driven in voltage control mode in the form of voltage steps (Pt) of variable amplitude. According to the invention, the method consists in calculating the value (Ut+1) of each voltage step (Pt+1) with respect to the value (Ut) of the preceding voltage step (Pt) and according to a progression variable representative of the variation in the internal resistance of the cell (d(R)/dt), for a period ending on the preceding step (Pt), with respect to a predetermined tolerated variation threshold (?), where Var=d(R)/dt??. The method applies to high-voltage electric battery charging protocols for electromobility or stationary applications, or portable device batteries, for example.

  • Publication number: 20110053211
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for determining—remotely and without taking samples—the condition of biological material, in particular food, as well as a device for performing this process. Radiation emission is thus induced with coherent beams in the material to be examined and is directly measured, whereby the measured values are compared to a nominal or boundary value. To this end, the device has a radiation source for emitting coherent beams, a detector for determining the induced radiation emission, and a control device, whereby the control device contains a microcomputer unit for comparison of the determined radiation emission with the nominal and boundary values that are stored in the memory.

  • Publication number: 20090038263
Abstract: In order to make available an arrangement for joining a composite pillar (1) to a beam (9, 10) of a building frame, in which the composite pillar has at least one vertical steel girder (2) and a steel enclosure (3) located at least in the connection region on all sides with a distance from the steel girder, and the space (4) between the steel girder and the enclosure being filled with a filler, and a building frame with this arrangement, in which the force from the beam can be delivered into the composite pillar both statically and economically, it is suggested that at least one connecting element (6) which extends between the steel girder and enclosure is attached to the steel girder and that in the enclosure in the region of the connecting element there is an opening (11) through which the beam can be connected to the steel girder.

  • Publication number: 20020091483
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for automatically detecting or monitoring the position of at least one guided vehicle (22), in particular, a railborne vehicle, and for emitting warning signals. According to the invention, the position of the vehicle (22) is preferably detected and monitored continuously in said vehicle by means of relayed information and transmitter/receiver devices (18, 19) which are located in the area of the tracks or rails (21) on which the vehicle is guided. According to the invention, if dangerous situations arise, the vehicle (22) emits warning signals, at least to other vehicles (22) which are in the immediate vicinity, in particular, to vehicles which are traveling on different routes from the one being covered by the first vehicle, in order to achieve increased reliability and safety in the case of malfunctions.
