  • Patent number: 5990844
Abstract: This radiating slot array antenna is made out of a printed circuit sandwich structure with: a radiating plate in printed circuit form transparent to microwaves having, on its upper face, a metallization plane in which there are etched alignments of radiating slots; chutes made of a plastic material with a metallized inner wall, the chutes having their hollow part before the upper face of the radiating plate, being soldered by their edges to the metallization plane of the upper face of the radiating plate on and parallel to the alignments of radiating slots so as to overlap them, and reconstituting the three missing walls of waveguides whose fourth wall is constituted by the metallization plane etched with radiating slots of the upper face of the radiating plate; and an upper plate assembled on the back of the chutes to ensure the stiffness of the antenna. Its composition as a sandwich of printed circuits gives it high rigidity, great lightness and a low cost price.

  • Patent number: 5902382
Abstract: A degassing system for a hydrocarbon dispenser including a hydrocarbon circulating pump (12). The system includes a degassing assembly (16) having an inlet connected to the outlet of the pump, a degassed hydrocarbon outlet (90), a takeoff outlet (20) for taking off the hydrocarbon/gas mixture, a degassing vessel (24), and a duct (38, 60") for connecting the takeoff outlet to the degassing vessel. The end of the duct which opens out into the degassing vessel has an adjustable effective flow section. The system also includes a valve arrangement (110, 118) for modifying the effective flow section as a function of the gas content of the hydrocarbon.

  • Patent number: 4718163
Abstract: The invention relates to a cooling device for a printed circuit card and to its production process. It is constituted by a parallelepipedic copper frame, to one face of which is fixed the card. The frame is open on two opposite lateral faces orthogonal to the first face.Copper partitions, orthogonal to the first face, define passages through which the liquid or gaseous cooling fluid flows. Gaps can be made orthogonally to the first face for the passage of the fastening clips of the components.Application to printed circuit cards equipping airborne equipment.

  • Patent number: 4486171
Abstract: A disposable gas lighter is formed with a liquid-fuel reservoir having a well molded into the housing at an upper portion thereof and provided with a plug member having a plurality of positions including a first position in which a passage is provided into the reservoir, a second position in which the well and the flow can be completely closed off and a third position in which the member is completely clear of the well to enable the well to serve to accommodate a valve system and a flow control device for the lighter. The axially displaceable member, having the aforementioned three positions, may be molded as part of the lighter housing and the well and can be broken loose when it is necessary to fill the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 4341389
Abstract: The disclosure describes a game to be used by two players and which involves the guessing by one player of a word selected by the opposite player. Each player has at his disposal a plurality of each of the letters of the alphabet, and if desired, a plurality of question marks and also a plurality of blank marks. There are two columns of consecutively aligned numerals opposite which can be disposed letters forming a word. A set of one column and one channel to place the letters, is intended for the word selected by one player while another set will be used by the same player for the word which he is trying to guess. By questions and answers, the player will try to locate the position occupied by the word to be guessed, opposite a particular column, after which he will try to identify each letter of the word to be guessed. In his turn, the opposite player will also try to arrive at guessing the word selected by the first player. This game is an excellent tool to develop the vocabulary of a person.
