  • Patent number: 5085717
Abstract: An autopyrolyzable solid composition for aerobic propulsion consists essentially of an oxidizing agent, a binder and a crosslinking agent. The oxidizing agent is a nitrated explosive material wherein the amount, by weight, of oxygen atoms fixed to the nitrogen atoms of the nitrate groups exceeds 40 percent relative to the total weight of the molecule. The binder is a polyalkadiene having functional terminal groups, such as --OH or --COOH groups, reactive with the crosslinking agent which can have isocyanate, epoxy or aziridinyl functions.
