  • Patent number: 9766013
Abstract: A drying device for a wall structure includes an inflatable drying mat (1) of lightweight plastic sheeting and a floor engaging portion (2), a wall engaging portion (3), an outwardly facing portion (4) that extends between an outer edge portion (5) of the floor engaging portion (2) and an upper edge portion (6) of the wall engaging portion (3) to define a triangular cross-section when in use and connected to an air mover. In use of the drying device, a deflated mat (1) is laid on a floor and against a wall structure to be dried. The air mover is then powered up whereupon the mat (1) is deployed automatically against the wall to a height in excess of one meter without any outside assistance.

Abstract: The present invention provides a drying device for a wall structure, the device comprising an inflatable drying mat (1) of lightweight plastic sheeting and generally comprising a floor engaging portion (2), a wall engaging portion (3), an outwardly facing portion (4) that extends between an outer edge portion (5) of the floor engaging portion (2) and an upper edge portion (6) of the wall engaging portion (3) to define a triangular cross-section when in use and connected to an air mover. The drying mat 1 also comprising opposite end portions (7, 8) that closes the mat (1) to form an inflatable configuration when in use. The floor engaging portion (2) and the wall engaging portion (3) are both provided with a multiplicity of apertures whereby, when the mat (1) is deployed against a wall structure and an air mover is attached to the mat (1) air passes through the multiplicity of apertures to dry the wall structure.

  • Patent number: 7872849
Abstract: The Laser Engagement Stun System, which is a man Worn Apparatus is designed for Training exercises in Force-on Force or One-on-One training. The L.E.S.S. system receives and analyzes incoming laser light signals while disregarding ambient light signals from the environment. It then generates a High Voltage low amperage pulsed shock or stun that is delivered to the person wearing the LESS. Each person in the exercises will be equipped with the Laser Engagement Stun System. A component and vital part of the system is the weapons mounted Visible Laser Light device attached to each persons weapon. The attached laser light device will be activated when the individual person pulls the trigger on their weapon and cause a Blank Round to be discharged or from a Dry Fire.

  • Patent number: 3982728
Abstract: A braking mechanism for a hoist incorporating two winding drums with brakes biased to move to the brakes applied state and fluid pressure means controllable by valves to operate in opposition to the biasing means has a bridge pipe containing a stop valve interconnecting the individual fluid supply lines leading from the control valves to the fluid pressure means. It also has isolator stop valve means arranged to control the flow of operating fluid to the control valves. The stop valve in the bridge pipe and the isolator stop valve may be arranged for remote control and may be biased so that the stop valve in the bridge pipe tends to open and the isolator stop valve tends to close.

  • Patent number: 3934856
Abstract: A mine winder has two cable drums and a braking mechanism for each. Each braking mechanism includes means operable to sense if the cable is moving and in which direction and the length of cable paid out and to issue a control signal containing this information. Brake control means is operable on receipt of the control signal to operate braking means and apply to the drum a braking effort based on the information in the control signal. A cable movement detector sensitive to the speed of movement of the cable may be provided to be operative to send a corresponding control signal to the brake control means. The braking means may be air-pressure operated, the brake control means adjusting the air pressure according to the control signal received.
