  • Patent number: 4357476
Abstract: New nonadienylamines, nonatrienylamines and nonylamines are described, as well as a new process for their manufacture by reacting a 1,3-diolefine with a Schiff's base in the presence of certain nickel catalysts. The new compounds are suitable for combating micro-organisms, for example in the protection of materials.

  • Patent number: 4088442
Abstract: Flexible temporary carriers for dry transfer printing or dyeing, characterized in that they carry a multi-colored print or a print of a single color, produced by means of one or more dyestuffs which can vaporize or sublime below 250.degree. C and at least one of which is either a (di-alkylamino)-anthraquinone of which at least one alkyl radical is an isopropyl radical and which carries in the 2- and 3-position one hydrogen atom, or a 1-amino-anthraquinone which carries, in the 2-position, an ethoxy, methoxy or methyl group, a hydrogen atom or, preferably, a halogen atom and especially a chlorine atom and, in the 4-position, a hydrogen atom or a hydroxyl group, the other dyestuffs optionally present on this carrier behaving in the same way when exposed to heat between 150.degree. and 250.degree. C at atmospheric pressure and use thereof for dry dyeing or dry printing synthetic polyamides.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 2, 1976
Date of Patent: May 9, 1978
    Assignee: Sublistatic Holding S. A.
Inventors: Bernard Hugelin, Claude-Alain Blanc, Charles Serex
  • Patent number: 4076495
Abstract: Temporary carriers which can be used in the thermoprinting technique, and particularly in thermoprinting textiles by transfer, characterized in that they comprise a print which is generally multicolored and which is produced from an alkalizing agent and one or more cationic dyestuffs, which, at atmospheric pressure, pass into the vapor state at temperature above 160.degree. C, the said print being carried by a sheet or strip of sulphurized paper.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 29, 1976
Date of Patent: February 28, 1978
    Assignee: Sublistatic Holding SA
    Inventors: Robert Decombe, Bernard Hugelin
  • Patent number: 4057388
Abstract: In a dry heat process for dyeing and printing of organic material which can be dyed with cationic dyestuffs, the improvement wherein at least one transferable salt of a cationic dyestuff with an acid having a pK.sub.s value greater than 3 is used for dyeing and printing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 12, 1976
Date of Patent: November 8, 1977
    Assignee: Ciba-Geigy AG
Inventors: Raymond Defago, Paul Schaffluetzel, Arnulf Ruediger Lapple, Bernard Hugelin
  • Patent number: 4008998
Abstract: Dry transfer printings are obtained by bringing the printed surface of a temporary carrier sheet into face-to-face contact with the surface of a substrate sheet to be printed, forming the joined sheets into a coil and heating the coil to a temperature and for a time period sufficient to cause transfer of transferable dyestuff from the printed surface of the temporary carrier to the surface of the substrate to be printed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 9, 1974
Date of Patent: February 22, 1977
    Assignee: Sublistatic Holding S.A.
Inventors: Charles Serex, Bernard Hugelin, Robert Decombe
  • Patent number: 3969071
Abstract: Temporary carriers, characterized in that they carry, on at least one of the faces of a heat-resistant sheet, a thin layer formed from a binder containing at least one cationic dyestuff, and a second layer, which is formed from a binder which can be of the same nature as that of the preceding layer, and which contains an agent which can change the anion of the cationic dyestuff and can render it hot-transferable.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 4, 1974
Date of Patent: July 13, 1976
    Assignee: Sublistatic Holding S.A.
    Inventor: Bernard Hugelin
  • Patent number: 3939147
Abstract: New unsaturated 1,2-diazacyclododecanes, more particularly 1,2-diazacyclododecatrienes-1,5,9 and 1,2-diazacyclododecanes-1 and a novel process for the preparation thereof are disclosed which process comprises reacting a 1,3-diolefin with an azine in the presence of certain nickel catalysts. Said process unexpectedly yields 12-membered ring compounds only, and more especially oligomerization products of 2 mols of a 1,3-diolefin and 1 mol of an azine, while deactivation of the nickel catalyst by the -N=N-bond is avoided.
