  • Patent number: 11706580
Abstract: Various embodiments provide a multi-audio input, stereo audio output, push-to-talk (PTT) switch device. The device may include an audio processing unit configured to perform spatial separation/positioning for one or a plurality of audio sources. The audio processing unit of the device may apply unique head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) to produce left and right audio outputs that correspond to predetermined or dynamically positioned spatial locations for each of the incoming audio streams.

  • Patent number: 11671783
Abstract: Various embodiments include a directional awareness audio communication system and method. The system may include remote speaker/transmitting device(s) and listener/receiving device(s). The speaker/transmitting device(s) may send real-time location information with audio or separate from the audio to the listener/receiving device(s). The listener/receiving device(s) use the speaker/transmitting device(s) location information relative to the listener/receiving device location and orientation to perform audio processing on the transmitted audio signal. The listener/receiving device(s) provide the processed audio signal in stereo (i.e., at least two speakers such as left and right headphones, vehicle speakers, control center speakers, surround sound speakers, etc.) to a user of the listener/receiving device. The listener/receiving device(s) provides a warning and outputs standard audio if the real-time location information of the speaker/transmitting device(s) is unavailable or unreliable.

  • Patent number: 8746645
Abstract: A portable riser for supporting a laptop computer or other article at an angle to a supporting surface. The riser includes a base and lid attached to each other by a double hinge. Arc shaped legs deploy form the riser when the lid is moved from a closed position to an deployed position a position where the lid rests against the opposite side of the base. The legs are formed by deforming a sheet of flexible material that lies between the base and a cover plate. The lid and the sheet of flexible material are coupled to each other so that when the lid is moved from the closed to the deployed position, the sheet of material is deployed.

  • Publication number: 20080314941
Abstract: A dual function clip device for use with an electronic device having a screen has a mount for receiving the electronic device; a clip mechanism constructed and arranged to clip onto a peripheral edge of a clothing article of a user; and an arm movable relative to the mount between a closed position and at least one open position. A securement device is also provided for locking the arm in the at least one open position. When the arm is in an open position, the clip device is positioned to engage an upwardly facing flat surface, and the mount is oriented to support the electronic device in a viewing position to display the screen on the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 5835535
Abstract: The data bus interface apparatus (243) which interfaces between one of a plurality of peripheral units (111) and a data bus (109). The data bus interface driver (243) is capable of biasing data to the voltage level of the data bus (109), accepting data signals (233) having different amplitudes and is immune to differences in ground voltage potentials caused by induced noise and differing environmental conditions. The data bus interface driver (243) is capable of data transition rates in excess of 1 MHz and has low EMI and RFI emissions.
