Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling which includes at least: a tubular coupling member suitable for receiving a pipe and comprising one or more annular ribs, and a crimping ring arranged on the coupling member and translatably movable between a position for inserting the pipe into the coupling member, and a crimping position, in which the crimping ring immobilizes the pipe relative to the coupling member after the deformation of the one or more ribs. Recesses are formed between the coupling member and the pipe in the crimping position. The coupling has at least one exhaust opening arranged such as to provide fluid communication between said at least one recess and the outside of the coupling.

The projections are substantially linear in shape in directions that intersect in front of the gripping body. A flared mobile jaw is mounted on the gripping body to rotate about a first axis between a release position and a clamping position. The flared jaw has two projections (504) of substantially linear shape in directions that intersect in front of the gripping body. An actuating lever mounted on the gripping body rotates about a second axis between a deployed position and a retracted position. A mechanism actuated by the actuating lever locks the mobile jaw in the clamping position.

Abstract: A portable information kiosk. The kiosk has a self contained power supply for a computer, a display, a digital camera, a cellular, satellite capable telephone, an antenna, a printer and a flat bed scanner, all electrically connected to each other and capable of being stored in a small carrying case. A method of deploying the kiosk does not require any attaching of parts together and can be done quickly. The kiosk is ideal for in the field communications and data acquisition, such as in disasters, emergencies, or any in the field environmental monitoring.

The valve rod (18) forms a passage (43) for communicating air between the first chamber (10) and the second chamber (24). The opening and closing of valve (19) with respect to valve seat (21) is controlled by movement of the membrane (12); which also controls communication between the second chamber (24) and the third chamber (27).
