  • Patent number: 11922910
Abstract: A digital audio workstation organizes musical information in a visually consistent manner, such that it is easier for the user to see and to manipulate the content in a song. The organization includes a multitrack music stream, which depicts multiple adjacent streams (or “tracks”) of musical content playing in parallel; a Play Bar, which is a visual plane intersecting the music stream; and two or more data layers, which are spatially aligned with the underlying musical stream, but each of which contains a specific type of musical data which can be viewed and manipulated in isolation. This approach to visual organization of music information has some major benefits to the user. Many different kinds of musical content and transformations can be depicted in a clear and consistent manner, making it easier for the user to see and manipulate the song.

  • Publication number: 20180280450
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions and methods for promoting the immune health of an animal or human by administering compositions or mixtures of water-soluble components derived from a genus Euglena organism that are capable of stimulating immune system activity in the absence of beta-glucan.

  • Publication number: 20170290853
Abstract: The present application relates to methods to facilitate the solubilization of beta-1,3-glucan in solution, for instance an aqueous or organic solvent and uses thereof to enhance immune function in an individual. Others aspects of the present invention relate to administering compositions or mixtures comprising solubilized beta-1,3-glucan to enhance immune function in humans or animals.

  • Patent number: 9574217
Abstract: Immune function of an animal can be modulated by administration of a composition that includes algae meal or beta glucan. The algae meal can be made by growing Euglena using particular methods and conditions, including certain continuous, semi-continuous, fed-batch, and repeat batch methods in sterile fermenters. Euglena provides a form of beta glucan that is different from other organisms, where the beta glucan is predominantly unbranched beta-1,3-glucan. Use of algae meal and beta glucan produced by the disclosed processes can improve the wellbeing of an animal or human, and may augment or even replace the use of antibiotics in certain circumstances.

  • Publication number: 20160122703
Abstract: An organic waste and wastewater treatment method and system that quickly and cost-effectively removes most organic materials from a waste or wastewater while generating a gaseous byproduct that can be used for heat or electricity generation. The method and system begins with a maceration and/or screening step that reduces waste particle size. Then, the waste is pumped through orifice(s) under high pressure to emulsify the waste and covert it to a slurry. The slurry is then treated in a horizontal anaerobic digester with flexible support material for microbial attachment to remove organic materials.

  • Publication number: 20140325331
Abstract: A machine-implemented system and method for defining process information is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system or method allows a user to list processes, define processes using an input form, list process parameters, list sampling points, define sampling points using an input form, and list sampling point parameters for a chemical process or processes. Enhancements can include functionality that allows a user to list process streams, define process streams using an input form, list process stream parameters, list process stream chemicals, and list process chemicals. Other enhancements can include functionality that allows a user to list reports, render reports using an input form, and list sampling point logs. The objective is to allow users to log, report, and chart process data using electronic input forms that do not require the writing of programming code by the person defining the process or processes.

  • Patent number: 8468461
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for defining the processes in a processing plant are disclosed. In one embodiment, the system uses input forms to allow a user to define the processes, chemicals, process streams, and sampling points in the plant in a way that requires no programming code to be written by the person defining the plant. In one embodiment, the electronic form-based user-configurable system can be used to configure and manage multiple plants belonging to one organization. The plant definition can be used to log information about the plant. The logged information can be used to generate reports or charts. Logging, reporting, and charting can be managed using input forms and without the user needing to write any computer code.

  • Publication number: 20050199098
Abstract: A bottle opener secured to the underside of a horizontal surface comprising a triangular shaped opener having an edge formed along the diagonal leg of the opener. A plurality of mounting holes are formed in the base of the opener so that fasteners can secure the opener to the underside of a horizontal surface, enabling a person to remove a bottle cap while positioned adjacent to the surface.

  • Patent number: 4121775
Abstract: A pulverizer generally includes a bowl for receiving an object to be pulverized and a pestle movable into the bowl for pulverizing the object. This system has been improved by providing a container which has a depression similar in shape to the shape of the bowl which is received in the bowl and the object is pulverized in the depression of the container to prevent the pulverized material from contaminating the bowl. The container has a flap for covering the depression to hold the pulverized material in the depression. The flap is folded over the depression and locked by a suitable locking mechanism. The pestle has a generally convex but truncated downwardly facing surface which generally conforms to the upper surface of the bowl over the major portion of the exterior, and the bottom surface of the pestle is spaced from the bottom surface of the bowl when the pestle is mated in the bowl.
