  • Patent number: 7393274
Abstract: The arcuate processing assembly of a combine harvester may be pivotally adjusted generally radially toward or away from a rotary processing device to adjust the operating clearance between the periphery of the rotary device and the assembly. Simultaneously with such adjustment of the assembly as a whole, in a compound pivoting action one arcuate member of the assembly is also pivoted relative to the other arcuate member to properly reshape the threshing region for the adjusted running clearance.

  • Publication number: 20070193243
Abstract: A harvesting header having a flexible cutterbar assembly utilizes draper belts behind the cutterbar assembly to gently consolidate the severed crop materials and deliver them to a point of discharge and delivery, such as to the feederhouse of a combine harvester. One embodiment has draper assemblies and a central conveyor fixed relative to the flexible cutterbar assembly, while another has the draper assemblies and central conveyer flexible with the cutterbar assembly.
