    Abstract: Various aspects described herein relate to connecting fans and celebrities in a social networking environment. A fan profile can be associated with a celebrity profile in the social networking environment. Attendance of a device registered for the fan profile at an event defined for the celebrity profile can be determined. An opportunity for the fan profile to obtain an autograph related to the celebrity profile can be provided based at least in part on the determined attendance of the device. Distributions of locations or times related to the autograph and/or other autographs can be provided.
