  • Patent number: 11514334
Abstract: Techniques for maintaining a knowledge database system based on user interactions with the database system are described herein. An aspect includes generating a user interface based on a knowledge database comprising a plurality of entities, wherein the user interface comprises a plurality of user interface elements, each user interface element of the plurality of user interface elements corresponding to one or more of the plurality of entities of the knowledge database. Another aspect includes receiving a user interaction corresponding to the user interface. Another aspect includes updating the knowledge database based on the received user interaction, wherein updating the knowledge database based on the received user interaction includes determining a user interface element associated with the received user interaction, mapping the determined user interface element to a first entity of the plurality of entities of the knowledge database, and performing a weight update corresponding to the first entity.

  • Publication number: 20220302744
Abstract: Disclosed is a portable solar charger for a smartphone that is operable to charge a smartphone battery using solar energy. The portable solar charger comprises solar panels that convert solar energy into chemical energy for charging the smartphone battery. The portable solar charger comprises a housing that encloses a solar charger board operable to charge a battery of the portable solar charger which is then used to charge the smartphone battery. The portable solar charger is communicably coupled to an application software installed on the smartphone. The portable solar charger is further configured to be attached to a backside of the smartphone. One or more connectors attached to the portable solar charger allows different kinds of smartphones to be used with the portable solar charger.

  • Publication number: 20090053784
Abstract: The present invention confers to the ferementative yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, genetically modified by insertion of a nucleic acid sequence encoding a xylose and a glucose active transporter, the ability to assimilate xylose using a system of co-transport with protons exhibiting a high affinity for xylose. The invention is useful for the production of bioethanol from plant biomass and other lignocellulosic materials, using genetically modified microorganisms for assimilating and fermenting xylose in mixtures of hexoses and pentoses resulting from raw material of industrial interest.

  • Patent number: 7434328
Abstract: A measuring tool for a blade cuff mounted on a rotor blade assembly includes a cam follower assembly which simulates a longitudinal profile of an ideal blade cuff within a contour plane. A cam lock locks the gauge at a desired longitudinal position along a central axis to measure a radial plane defined around the blade cuff as the blade cuff profile fixture is rotated relative the base and cam follower assembly. A master block is removably mounted to the blade cuff fixture to simulate an ideal blade cuff such that the gauge may be zeroed thereon. Once zeroed, and after removal of the master block, the cam follower assembly provides a continuous zero position for the gauge such that any deviations from the ideal profile anywhere on the blade cuff is indicated on the gauge.
