  • Patent number: 11506280
Abstract: A method for operating a drive train having a power generator, a mechanical power transmission device, and a power receiver wherein the power transmission device is monitored to detect mechanical damage and/or the development of mechanical damage to the power transmission device, wherein detected damage and/or detected damage development is localized and the power generator, the power transmission device, and/or the power receiver are/is controlled such that a mechanical load at the localized damage location and/or damage development location is selectively reduced. A program product including program code sections with which such a method is feasible when the program product is executed on a programmable controller, a computer, or other programmable device.

  • Patent number: 6358185
Abstract: A gearbox of a gear-changing appliance has a frictional connection whose engagement by a hydraulic fluid actuator causes an associated gearbox transmission ratio to be effective. A control pressure derived from the working pressure of the actuator is used to influence a pressure regulating valve for a supply pressure present at a pressure regulating valve which adjusts the working pressure as required by an electronic control unit.

  • Patent number: 5591096
Abstract: An arrangement drives an automatic selector appliance of a change-speed gearbox of a motor vehicle into a position for emergency running in the event of a failure of an electronic control unit. A specified forward gear is selected, after the vehicle has come to rest, by manually moving a range selector valve into a P position and back into a D position.

  • Patent number: 5577974
Abstract: An arrangement for controlling an automatic selector device of a change-speed gearbox has two selecting connections engageable alternately by selecting actuators operated by pressure medium can be actuated into two non-transient and two transient selector conditions. This alternate engageability is provided by an electronic control unit by way of just one electromagnetic control valve. The arrangement also uses three pressure systems and two multi-way valve arrangements.

  • Patent number: 5401222
Abstract: A device is provided for influencing starting of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle that has an electronically controlled gearbox, an electrically acting interlock that prevents the internal combustion engine from being put into operation when a gearbox status causing a driving force connection is selected, and a starter with an electromagnetic disengagement switch that is suppliable with battery current from an ignition switch during actuation of the starter. The device has an electronic engine control unit for at least one of ignition and metering of fuel, with a communicative connection communicatively connecting the engine control unit to the gearbox control. A direct connection is provided from the ignition switch to the electromagnetic disengagement switch for supplying battery current to the electromagnetic disengagement switch without an intermediate disabling switch.
