  • Patent number: 11781462
Abstract: A mixer for mixing an exhaust gas flow with a fluid injected into an exhaust gas line comprises means for generating a swirl effecting a rotating flow and means for a radial displacement in the exhaust gas flow admixed with the fluid and flowing axially through the mixer. In this respect, the swirl generation means and the radial displacement means are arranged and designed such that, viewed over the cross-section of the mixer perpendicular to the axial exhaust gas flow, at least two separate swirl regions result which are built up via tangentially acting vane-like swirl elements and at least one respective radial displacement region results which is arranged between two separate swirl regions.

  • Publication number: 20230258114
Abstract: A heating apparatus for an exhaust train comprises a flow-conducting device for guiding an exhaust gas flow along a flow path; a burner that is arranged outside the flow-conducting device and that is configured to generate heating gases during the combustion of a fuel; and a supply device that is configured to supply the heating gases generated by the burner to the exhaust gas flow, which is guided through the flow-conducting device, via a heating gas inlet that is formed in a wall of the flow-conducting device. The supply device has a channel that is fastened to an outer side of the flow-conducting device in a manner covering the heating gas inlet and open towards it, wherein the channel extends along a peripheral direction running around the flow path and in so doing engages around the flow-conducting device while forming an interruption.

  • Patent number: 10508579
Abstract: A mixer device for introducing and distributing a liquid into a gas flow comprises a mixing chamber which can be flowed through by the gas flow, an overflow pipe which is arranged at least partly in the mixing chamber and which has a jacket surface and a first and a second pipe end, and at least one injector associated with the first pipe end of the overflow pipe to inject the liquid into the overflow pipe. The jacket surface of the overflow pipe has at least one inflow opening through which gas can flow from the mixing chamber into the overflow pipe for a subsequent mixing with the injected fluid. The overflow pipe is configured such that inflowing gas in its interior can have two swirl components of opposite senses imparted onto it.

  • Publication number: 20150053382
Abstract: A heat transfer arrangement for heating a working fluid by means of a flowing hot fluid comprises a fluid channel for carrying the flowing hot fluid, a pipe bundle arranged in the fluid channel for carrying the working fluid, wherein the pipe bundle comprises a number of pipeline segments running parallel to each other in a longitudinal direction and a carrying structure permanently connected to the fluid channel for holding the pipe bundle in the fluid channel. The pipeline segments are each supported on the carrying structure on at least a first non-moving bearing point and on at least a second bearing point separated from the first bearing point in the longitudinal direction and having clearance movement in at least one direction.
