  • Patent number: 5023403
Abstract: A flexible connection is made between the printed conductor array of an automotive windshield or rear window and an electric cable by a braided body formed with a lug at one end for connection to the cable and having, at the opposite end, oppositely bent arms or feet in the form of arms of a T soldered to the conductor array only at the extremity of these feet.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 15, 1989
Date of Patent: June 11, 1991
    Assignee: Flachglas Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Rudolf Eckardt, Bernd Diedrichs
  • Patent number: 4448944
Abstract: Polyolefins having a broad molecular weight distribution are obtained in a very high yield even using a catalyst based on a reaction product of a magnesium alcoholate with titanium tetrachloride, if the hydrocarbon-insoluble product of the reaction of the magnesium alcoholate with titanium tetrachloride is heated to a fairly high temperature with a chloroalkoxytitanate, in order to split off alkyl chlorides.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 14, 1982
Date of Patent: May 15, 1984
    Assignee: Hoechst Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Joachim Berthold, Bernd Diedrich, Rainer Franke, Jurgen Hartlapp, Werner Schafer, Wolfgang Strobel
  • Patent number: 4447587
Abstract: Polyolefins having a broad molecular weight distribution are obtained in a very high yield even using, as the catalyst, a product from the reaction of a magnesium alcoholate with titanium tetrachloride, if the reaction between the magnesium alcoholate and the titanium tetrachloride is carried out at a relatively low temperature and the reaction mixture is then heated to a fairly high temperature in order to split off alkyl chlorides.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 14, 1982
Date of Patent: May 8, 1984
    Assignee: Hoechst Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Joachim Berthold, Bernd Diedrich, Rainer Franke, Jurgen Hartlapp, Werner Schafer, Wolfgang Strobel
  • Patent number: 4311752
Abstract: Copolymers of ethylene and higher 1-olefins which are suitable for the manufacture of thin films, are preferably prepared in a two-step process, the first step yielding a polymer having a high molecular weight, the second step giving a polymer having a low molecular weight. The films obtained from these copolymers have improved mechanical properties as compared to films manufactured from known corresponding raw materials. The mechanical properties are furthermore uniform in longitudinal and in transverse direction.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 13, 1979
Date of Patent: January 19, 1982
    Assignee: Hoechst Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Bernd Diedrich, Ludwig Bohm, Olaf Heine
  • Patent number: 4239650
Abstract: The high activity rate of known polymerization catalysts on the basis of metal alcoholates can be considerably increased by after-treating these catalysts with acid halides of the 3rd or 4th main group or the 4th subgroup of the Periodic Table.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 24, 1978
Date of Patent: December 16, 1980
    Assignee: Hoechst Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Rainer Franke, Bernd Diedrich
