    Abstract: A method for coating surfaces using (A) at least one ethylene copolymer wax selected from those ethylene copolymer waxes which comprise, incorporated in the form of polymerized comonomers, (a) from 15 to 40% by weight of at least one ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and (b) from 60 to 85% by weight of ethylene, and those ethylene copolymer waxes which comprise, incorporated in the form of polymerized units, (a?) from 14.5 to 39.9% by weight of at least one ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, (b?) from 60 to 79.4% by weight of ethylene and (c?) from 0.1 to 15% by weight of an ester of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, in each case in at least partly neutralized form, and (B) at least one further wax which differs from ethylene copolymer wax (A).
