Publication number: 20100144375Abstract: The invention relates to a method, which can be used to determine the local itinerary of a user of a variety of public means of transportation. Based on said determined itinerary then the travel cost can be equitably distributed among the individual operators of the means of transportation. The basis of the method is a comparison of the coordinates of stops of the public means of transportation with the coordinates of base stations for sending and receiving operations in mobile phone communication (GSM). Said coordinates must be determined only once and can be stored in a memory. If the coordinates of a base station into which a mobile phone is logged are close to the coordinates of a stop, it is assumed that the user of the mobile phone is located at said stop. During the travel of the user of the public means of transportation, it is detected at regular intervals—for example in intervals of 30 seconds—into what base station the mobile phone is logged.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 19, 2008Publication date: June 10, 2010Applicant: ZEUS SYSTEMS GMBHInventors: Jorg Pfister, Bernd Fritz Geppert, Uwe Plank-Wiedenbeck, Christoph Zimmer

Patent number: 7135299Abstract: The invention relates to the sulfonyl esters of the general formula R1—COO—SO2—Z—R2, wherein Z, R1 and R2 are defined as in claim 1. The invention further relates to the use of one of the inventive compounds for modifying the kinetics of the enzymatic effect of catalase. A method for measuring a concentration in living and/or active microorganisms in a liquid sample (3) by means of the development of oxygen from hydrogen peroxide is also based on the above-mentioned modification. An inventive compound is admixed in a container (1) to the sample, said compound inactivates the enzymatic effect of endogenous catalase without substanially inactivating the enzymatic effect of the intracellular catalase of microorganisms. Hydrogen peroxide is added and immediately afterwards the pressure present in the sample container is briefly equalized with the atmosphere, the container is closed in a gas-tight manner (2) during a predetermined reaction time and the pressure in the container is measured (9, 10, 11).Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2002Date of Patent: November 14, 2006Inventor: Bernd Fritz Podzus

Patent number: 7049630Abstract: An OLED device having pillars with a cross section that is wider on the top. The pillars structure a conductive layer during deposition into distinct portions located between the pillars and on the top of the pillars. In one embodiment, the grooves between the pillars extend outside the electrode region to prevent shorting of adjacent electrodes.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2003Date of Patent: May 23, 2006Assignee: Osram Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn. BhdInventors: Hooi Bin Lim, Hagen Klausmann, Bernd Fritz

Patent number: 6887733Abstract: A method of encapsulating an organic device including flash evaporating a getter layer on the substrate is disclosed. The getter layer comprises an alkaline earth metal, such as barium. The getter layer serves to protect the active components by absorbing surrounding moisture and gases.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2002Date of Patent: May 3, 2005Assignee: Osram Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn. BhdInventors: Hagen Klausmann, Bernd Fritz

Patent number: 5717477Abstract: For the contacting of conductors of a support with contact warts of an electronic component, the contact warts are first of all coated on the side thereof facing the support with a graphite material which remains resilient in hardened condition. Adhesive is then applied to the electronic component between the contact warts or in corresponding manner on a support. The electronic component is then pressed with initial stress against the support until the adhesive has hardened.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 1996Date of Patent: February 10, 1998Assignee: Optrex Europe GmbHInventors: Bernd Fritz, Timm Salzmann

Patent number: 4511218Abstract: An electro-optical display device including a substrate which carries a layer of electrodes containing one or more semi-conductive metal oxides. Over particular sections of its surface the layer of electrodes is provided with a metal coating. In these sections (25) the layer of electrodes (20) includes a portion (22) of the metals in elementary condition, which portion becomes greater from the area (A) adjacent to the substrate to the area (0) facing away from the substrate. The metals are available in combined condition in the semi-conductive metal oxides.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 1982Date of Patent: April 16, 1985Assignee: ITT Industries, Inc.Inventor: Bernd Fritz
