    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a housing assembly with a printed circuit board, and to a method of fixing the printed circuit board in the housing assembly. An assembly comprises a first housing portion having a first retaining element extending upwards from a base of the first housing portion. A second housing portion has a second retaining element that extends downward from a cover of the second housing portion. A printed circuit board is attachable to an open end of the first retaining element. The open end of the first retaining element is adapted to receive a distal end of the second retaining element when the first housing portion engages with the second housing portion.
