  • Publication number: 20240067204
Abstract: A method for setting up a virtual ad hoc network for transmitting at least one piece of information to a first transportation vehicle as a first network subscriber. The method includes the information being provided based on first data from at least one second network subscriber, and at least one second network subscriber being a second transportation vehicle or an infrastructure component; wherein a motor-vehicle-external, central data processing device receives second data from multiple potential second network subscribers and takes the second data and at least one space-time parameter as a basis for determining the second network subscribers and setting up the virtual ad hoc network with the first transportation vehicle, as the first network subscriber, and the determined second network subscribers, the space-time parameter defining a specific area of relevance that has a predetermined physical and temporal correlation with the current position of the first transportation vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11091146
Abstract: A method performs shifts in a dog clutch element of a transmission system in a hybrid vehicle. The vehicle has an input shaft being connected to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, an output shaft being connected indirectly to driven wheels, an electric machine which is in engagement with the input shaft, and an automatic transmission connected between the input and output shafts. The transmission has a dog clutch element for the releasable coupling of two transmission elements. During a desired shifting of the dog clutch element, the torque of the input shaft is adapted via the electric machine, and therefore a reduced load prevails in the region of the dog clutch element and the latter can be disengaged, after which the internal combustion engine is set to a desired target rotational speed, and after which the dog clutch element is engaged when the target rotational speed is reached.

  • Patent number: 10828989
Abstract: A hybrid vehicle is operated with a combustion engine, an electric machine and a gear unit. The vehicle has a first electrical system and a second electrical system as a vehicle electrical system. The first electrical system, which is operated at a higher voltage level than the second electrical system, operates the electric machine, an electrical energy storage device, an energy converter that transmits electrical power at least from the first electrical system into the second electrical system. An alternator is not used in the second electrical system. The first electrical system is a part of a transmission system that together with the components that are coupled to the transmission system is controlled by a transmission control unit. During power generation by the electric machine the energy supply of the second electrical system has a higher priority than a motor-mode support of the drive by the electric machine.

  • Patent number: 10189384
Abstract: A method for producing vehicle seat components involves working a semifinished blank in a cutting manner. The method can be carried out easily and at low cost and makes it possible to produce components that require little reworking and also provides a vehicle seat component that is both suitable for reducing crash energies by deformation and has an adequate wear resistance. The method includes local heating of the semifinished blank in the region of an intended cutting line of the vehicle seat components to be cut out and cutting out the vehicle seat components from the semifinished blank along the cutting line during or shortly after the heating.
